It's still crazy/hilarious to me that that dude got caught in a prostitution sting (while being recently married iirc) and had his name publicly out there (which obviously in Iowa means in his own publication as well) and didn't lose his job somehow. I'm not even speaking to judging him for it or anything aside from the fact that he was married, I'd just have expected him to get canned. eww, i never knew about this

I cannot currently name a single Ducks player. They are a good NHL team but a complete non-entity. it's strange to me that you can be even a casual hockey fan and not immediately think of getzlaf or perry. ryan getzlaf is a hall of famer and corey perry is a former mvp, 6x all-star, and one of the most notoriously hated players by opposing nhl fanbases

That's silly. being worried about those guys is silly? obviously "this season is going to be depressing" is an over exaggerated take, but there is real reason to worry. if the rotation is just going to be okay, we need the offense to be great.

the rotation being ass would be kind of easy to swallow since it was due for a reboot this offseason anyways, but the way schwarber, russell, and willson look is scaring the horsefeathers out of me. i feel like david's sig keeps getting smaller and smaller.

yes, but even though we aren't exactly talking about baseball here, you'd still expect to see more individual losses scattered in there

He's great and would have gotten to The Finals more years than not, but the East since he made "The Decision" has been ass by and large. i'm not impressed with his teams always advancing through those rounds, i'm impressed with just how easy it's been
