the nhl playoffs are great. an upset like this can happen at any time, but it doesn't feel as stupid and luck-dependent as it does when it happens in baseball.

    this makes no sense

him rotting away in left field for years really.symbolizes the post ws cubs. everything just slowly becomes worse and nothing really ever changes, because hoping bad players become good is most of theo's plan at this point.
  7. 17 Seconds
anyone theo gives significant money to becomes a black hole

i was the one who pointed out that it was only 2 weeks. i'm just saying he was worth negative war going into this game, so i'm not going to fawn over him finally have a good game.

he has a babip fueled .828 ops with terrible defense. we might regret it but he hasn't been very inspiring so far. not that 2 weeks means anything anyways

Only idiots thought that was a good idea/excuse. Everyone who knows anything knows that passing on Bryce to maybe extend our guys in 2-3 years was horsefeathering dumb. i know, i'm talking about ptr specifically. didn't he say something like that?

member when part of the excuse for not signing harper was that we'd have to pay guys like bryant soon

watching schwarber slowly fade away over the years and continuously expecting him to be good really sums up theo's second act with the cubs

People complaining about the team.* *Currently have the 5th most offensive WAR as a team in MLB as well. i said going forward. show me where that war came from.
  24. 17 Seconds
name 1 strength this team is likely to have going forward

washington got theirs, so let sj finally get one. we have tb ready to replace them as the powerhouse who always fails in the playoffs.
