god damnit Stay mad, I guess? If you're convinced that a player who is playing well is actually bad (at this moment), I don't know what to tell you. I'm not saying Adam Jones (or Heyward or whoever) will continue to be good the rest of the year, I'm only saying that in the small sample size that is the 2019 season, they have been good. i thought you were trolling. i think it goes without saying that we're talking about more than a 3 week sample when we talk about whether or not a player is "good". i said that he is better than almora/happ, while pointing out that there is a valid reason why he didn't get a good contract in the offseason. he's a 33 year old outfielder who was worth .6 war last season and 1.7 the year before. i don't know why you would take issue with me pointing out that he is likely a bad player going forward, and then shrug and pretend like you don't understand the problem with evaluating a player based on less than a month of games.
