  1. We've talked an nauseum about how Walsh's numbers are only as good as they are because he's been protected from tough lefties. I'm tired of hearing that doing this is hurting Walsh's ability to help us win games. Walsh is at his Walshiest when he's facing righties and I'm good with leaving things as-is If I've said this once, I've said it 1000 times - Turner is better at hitting lefties than Walsh is
  2. You didn't really sell that one Calling the Cubs "fanbase" stupid as a monolith is very much not the same thing as calling nsbb contributors stupid. You've been around long enough to feel that, I think
  3. Everything you've mentioned is accounted for in every metric where's there's an "x" in front of it. If you'd care to learn
  4. Him slurring Andres Galarraga can't be topped
  5. Who the horsefeathers is this idiot Man, I saw the cubs scored one run last night before I opened this thread and you guys didn't disappoint
  6. I'm not your buddy, guy The only tolerable way to read this guy's posts in the Terrence and Philip voice
  7. Hi tree, we miss you
  8. I revisited a couple from that archive site that he should not be fond of
  9. When he was first called up, I thought it would be great if the Dugout did a chat featuring BenintendiConsequences
  10. Not sure I agree with the decision to forfeit here only down 2
  11. Glad he waited until he got to the cardinals to be a total horsefeathers
  12. The biggest problem with Cohen is he can't riff. Boog is a fantastic improvisor (so is Taylor). Cohen best calls (e.g. Seiya says seeya) are done to absolute death to the point that they're grating. Boog is charismatic and thinks on his feet - he's natural. And he's so good at riffing, he elevates JD in conversation. I guess I feel strongly about this
  13. Vegas odds favor the big fanbases. Its better engagement. That's barely data
