Hill's giving up some shots - defense is helping. I guess SF is doing pretty well with the gloves, too. Two in a row from Sori. Rich also has the benefit of facing one of the worse offense in baseball... I still can't get over that pitch he threw to Feliz..

I voted big bat for the reasons eloquently stated by vance. I just don't think a true pitching upgrade is out there for us to acquire, at least one that would clearly be cemented into a #2 role behind Z.

Irrational perhaps at least...it's just the psyche of the average Cubs fan to worry about the Cardinals. Even though my rational side tells me the Cards are no real threat, I won't totally dismiss them until they're mathematically eliminated.
