I went w/ Hundley... I had the displeasure of meeting him--dude is a pud (I'd use much stronger language if it wouldn't bet me banned). He was a legend in his own mind, and I wouldn't be surprised if to this day he felt he had Hall of Fame talent; he just simply was a jerk. -

Huh, I don't celebrate other teams' injuries either.... W/ that said, given the less than stellar performance by Capuano, the up & down of Bush & Suppan being largely what he simply is as a pitcher, the Crew could face some tough sledding. I wish we were playing them next week... -

Not that I'd want Cliff on the shelf, but it'd temporarily "solve" our crowded outfield & would allow for the 12th pitcher that Lou wants... The middle infield could go w/ the rotation of Fontenot/TheRiot/Izzy; CF could go Pagan/JJ; RF as DeRo/Pagan/Ward. IF Cliff ends up on the DL, and we get rid of the 3rd catcher, then bring up Pie? -
I'd pay good money to see that. I wouldn't... Z would crush him quickly.

I think Grace's prediction of "sometime over the next couple weeks" is a bit optimistic... And yes, I do know we gained 4 games over a 2 week span prior to the AS break...

I've had the TV muted, so would you mind explaining? Just a lot of old school baseball cliche's. Eh, you got those from Lou when he was in the booth as well. Yeah, I won't judge Joe for that. I think "old school" jargon is what viewers expect. It's more understandable to the masses than new school sabremetrics...
