  1. thank you for punting seattle
  2. I thought he overthrew that at first, but that throw was perfect. I really wish I had the number to the Bears fan I was talking to at the bar last night who said Cutler is a terrible QB and we'd be better off with Orton or McNabb or probably 20 other QBs
  3. I loved the bears dropping a F bomb during the pregame speech and then saying edit that when he was done.
  4. I can't believe KU let Michigan back into this.
  5. yea, but a quarter of an inch the other way, and he would have missed completely Uh . . . yeah, of course. And that refutes my point how? you guys need to watch mighty ducks more
  6. because you're looking at this irrationally. what the [expletive] else do you call (Crosby) hitting the left upright with 1 second left to force OT? Wasn't that a 53 yard FG attempt? Crosby has a leg, but at best, that's a 50-50 kick. Sure, it's a tough kick. But it hit the post (evidently, I honestly don't remember this either way). It could have bounced left, right, in, out, whatever. You're talking inches -- maybe less -- from being a good field goal. That's luck. How else would you describe it? yea, but a quarter of an inch the other way, and he would have missed completely
  7. Remember, he has the endorsement deal with them and does their commercials. Thanks for the Wig and Pen recommendation. The pizza was better than anything I can get in STL. If any hawkeye fans where in section L, I'd like to apologize for the idiot Illinois fans in row 33. Me and my brother were close to turning around and punching them, but they were old and we didn't want to end up on youtube. Every turnover, foul, or missed jumper was Tisdale's fault, and the rest of the team is a bunch of idiots for not giving the ball to Cole more. Glad you liked it, one of my favorite places. Love the flying tomato union jack. I sit in section K and heard those guys ragging on tisdale all night, seemed weird. You weren't the guy dancing to thriller at halftime were you? That's what we got. I think we're going to do it again next year. No, but I'm pissed I missed it.

  9. Just don't bring 200 students with you. Hopefully they won't come because of break and the bowl game. yea we're hoping we can watch the bowl game at a local watering hole before the b-ball game. There are some places there along Hwy 6 that you could hit. Wig and Pen is a local place with the best food (and solid beer selection) combo but it's right down the hill from Carver and typically packed before games. Right next to that is The Vine which is also pretty solid and would give you the best view of tv's. Either one of those are within walking distance to CHA so you can drink and not have to worry about driving until after 10 p.m. Then of course further away you have chains like Old Chicago and Buffalo Wild Wings that would probably be less crowded but work. cool thanks

  11. I'll be there with my dad and brother wearing orange, I really hope we don't lose.
  12. I know this is crazy but with his high OBP, I think he'd be great at lead off.
  13. Yeah, no. You just saw why they didn't go for it. The Lions are cutting up the Bears' defense today. On 4th and 2 from where they were at, there is no reason to not go for it. The Bears are the better team, act like it. Lovie has no balls when it comes to going for it Again, are you not watching this game? Since we can't stop them, doesn't that mean we need to score even more, so we should go for it.
  14. Looks like the game is on here in STL. A very pleasant surprise after 506 said I'd get green bay.
  15. My initial reaction too, but then I realized those games would be in the craptastic EJ Dome.
  16. what was the call before the TV timeout? They counted the basket, correct?
  17. yea I thought for sure DMac would pull up for the three or force something thinking he was out of time, but instead it was a brilliant left handed pass to DJ for the three
  18. Is it on TV? espn3.com Davis came to play to start the game.
  19. Paul in the starting lineup instead of Cole today.
  20. He's right, though. Paul is making an insane amount of shots early on. The challenge is going to start when some of those shots aren't falling, to see if he keeps on chucking. Yea, I was hoping for Paul to improve. So far it looks like he's improved by leaps and bounds and more than I had hoped for.
  21. Don't worry Illinois has the National POY and it's not McCamey.
  22. Do any of my fellow St. Louis brethren want to go to a bar tonight to watch the Illinois and Bears game?
  23. Because it's America's Team. Pathetic. They're going to get slaughtered and Fox is stupid enough to think people want to watch that? for once I'm happy to be getting the Rams game.
  24. Wow. I'm in disbelief about this. I thought you guys combined with River Ridge? Go Hornets
