I get what you are saying and in a year or two, I would be right with you in this situation. This year, though, the Bears are now on house money. I'd say enjoy the ride. The pressure is on the Packers and they haven't been exactly steady when the heat is on.
So apparently the Bulls are not interesting in breaking up the "young core" for Giannis. I can not believe I am going to say this but AKME is arguably worse than the previous regime.
If you trade for Hernandez, I would rather trade away Suzuki, give RF to OC and then bring in a complimentary guy. Hernandez with Suzuki is redundant, imo.
If Hernandez's OF defense is a disaster and he can not play 1B, that leaves DH. So unless the Cubs are planning on moving Suzuki is another deal, what's the point of Hernandez?
On an ice that he shared with guys like Eichel or Marner, I truly believe Bedard was the best player. The loss sucked but nobody is talking about the outcome of the game, only Connor Bedard.
If Pittsburgh looking to draft a QB (which they should), Tomlin may not want to be part of developing a young QB. I could see a scenario in which Tomlin and Pittsburgh amicably part ways.
Hopefully the Bears don't have a 1st round pick because it's being used to acquire a pass rusher like Garrett, Crosby, etc. But if the Bears pick somewhere in the early to mid 20's, I have no complaints about the Bears taking somebody like Love.
Claypool, Eberflus and Davis (and maybe Ryan Bates) are the only three I will give Poles crap about. The draft picks are always hit and miss. As for Shelton, I am not going to give him crap because Dalman has good, imo.
First time since Lovie that I am looking forward to the Packers game. Not saying the Bears will win, saying the Bears have a coaching staff that will put their players in position to win this game.
If you can overcome being a 7 point dogs against the Eagles in Philadelphia, you can overcome being a 6.5 dogs against the Packers.
