    Overall: 4 GS, 26.2 IP, 9 ER, 21 H, 41 K/6 BB, 3 HBP, 3.04 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, .212 BAA figures, i was gonna go to the game but went golfing instead...oh well, took $20 bucks from the people i was playing with.

    I'm curious as to how many scouts were there? just by looking through the crowd for people jotting down notes i counted 28, heh....i also sat out front before the game waiting for my girl to show and counted 20+ going through the pass gate...so my number is probably pretty dead on....so i'm guessing that just about every big league club had a scout present. Well that number should start dropping soon, because he'll be a high pick if not #1 so most of the clubs know they wont have a chance to get him! well, there was a game after theirs....it was during the music city classic so there were a few teams in town...boston college, ball state and pittsburgh...i don't know enough about the other teams to tell you if they have any real talent though.

    sign him soriano murton arod lee ramirez barrett who cares who cares To fit Soriano, Arod, Lee and Ramirez into the same payroll, while still employing a pitching staff, gusy like Jones and Barrett will have to be gone. They'd have to go with affordable guys at multiple positions, like Murton, Pie and Patterson. And they'd probably have to find a minimum wage catcher to work in with Blanco. i know...just dreaming...geeze mr. buzzkill

    This lobbyist thing just drives me nuts. Maybe it's time for Cub fans to pool up and send a guy out there to lobby for Santo...whine and dine them, bring them to Vegas with Pacman and tell them how great they are. or threaten to break their knees.

    I put "make an offer of at least 150 bucks per pair" in my posting on craigslist and didn't have the problem that you're having. Maybe try editing your ad to include something like that. i did that just a minute ago...we'll see what happens...i also replied to all the emails i've already received asking them to make a strong offer...one person actually made an offer of 150 but i think i can do better...i countered with 200, heh...hopefully they go for it.

    i've gotten several responses from craigslist as well....everyone just keeps asking how much i want for them when my ad clearly says to make an offer....must be sox fans.

    i saw a buy it now go for $230 for 2 cubs/sox may 19th tickets last nite....gave me hope, hah.
