    El Duque seems to think he can still pitch and is shooting for that. The decision has probably already been made since the Mets had till 10 am ET to set their 25-man for this series. If Orlando doesn't start, rookie RHP John Maine will get the call.

    I've heard Girardi and Kranitz have a great relationship and Girardi gives Kranitz a lot of the credit for the Marlins' rookie pitcher's success. And there's another reason for not getting Piniella...don't want Rothschild back.

    I only went to one game this year (kinda hard for me, but in years past, I'd see the Cubs in Anaheim or SD, even in SF). Of course the game I did go to, Furcal killed DLee's wrist. I've been to about 5 other Dodger and Angel games and a couple minor league games (to see Nick Adenhart). Have tix to game 4 of Mets-Dodgers.

    I didn't see that outlined in the link in your sig. Maybe I missed it. I have also seen quite a few "Dumpster" "Jockstrap" "Dusty" references on this board and not just from me. The link in my sig is not the be-all, end-all of rules. Those nicknames are frowned up also (though most commonly seen in game threads, where these rules are less strictly enforced because people get upset in the heat of the moment in games). And I fail to see how "Dusty" is an insulting name. He probably wrote Dust Bag in quotes. The word censor doesn't work when you quote someone using a censored word - but when I quote, I still see "Dusty."

And I fail to see how "Dusty" is an insulting name. You've been asked to stop using those insulting nicknames, if you see others doing it, PM a mod. We can't see everything on the boards, we have lives too. Just because someone else is doing it and we missed it doesn't give you the right to keep doing it.
