  1. Bulls beat Memphis 87-84. :) Andre Barrett hit the go-ahead layup. Gordon and Noc had 13 points each.
  2. Very interesting: The August 15th deadline for signing drafted players does not apply for college seniors.

  5. I agree with UK and stitch in regards to Pujols taking vs. swinging.
  6. I would have kept the tickets, raw. :P
  7. All games in the Pacific League postponed today due to rain.
  8. What is Igawa's stuff like? I know kctigers23 referred to him in another thread as a "power lefty."
  9. I don't think Harben, Holdzkom or Campusano are really a possiblity for the 2007 Cubs pen. All three of them are too far back in the depth chart with too little experience in the high minors (and Harben will probably be used as a starter too) to be viable options before September.
  10. Lucky! I can't wait for the season to start...
  11. Not so much Piggy, but Rapada certainly deserves a long look on making the big league team this coming spring (and the 40-man this December).
  12. Jim Callis was talking about it in a recent BA chat and said it was probably not going to happen any time soon since it would be such a logistical nightmare.
  13. Scout.com with a little story about Adam Harben and a brief mention of Fox, Moore and Patterson.
  14. Mesa wins 12-7, box: 2B E. Patterson 3/6, 4 R, 2B (3), 3 RBI (7), SB (6) DH J. Fox 0/4, RBI (7), BB (1!) RP C. 15. The Cards would be wise to not throw Monroe first pitch FBs anymore.
  16. Welcome to the club. 8-) Hey, I'm in, too. Not only that, but also a small Texas college no less. Hrm, well, I don't think UCLA is a small Texas college. :) Amusingly enough, two of my cousins are math-econ majors too.
  17. Scott Moore and Eric Patterson have made the first ever AFL Rising Stars Showcase (the AFL all-star game). The game will take place on Friday in Surprise.
  18. They started with the AL, I'm guessing they'll do the NL Central on Friday. It's subscriber content AL East AL Central AL West NL East
  19. I'll be in Vegas... Hopefully, I can find a good sportsbook to go watch it at. LOL. I don't think you'll have too much trouble. Have fun :) Heh, no kidding.
  20. Future Hall of Famers? And is Guzman really a bust already? Wang was rated low by most people, not just BA (partly due to shoulder injuries). Your criticism of the Yankees being rated low despite the trio of Wang, Cano and Hughes isn't that great when one considers Hughes was a prospect at the same time as the other two for just his first 5 pro innings (after which, Wang and Cano didn't qualify for prospect lists). BA certainly has it's issues (it's love affair with tools), but they are more accurate than many of us.
  21. I'm guessing Isaac Pavlik and Ryan Bicondoa will be back in the system since they aren't on that list.
  22. The Estrellas Orientales' box score for Sunday is not up. Licey won their game on Sunday 5-1, box: CF F. Pie 2/4, 2B (2) - Felix was out at third trying to stretch his 3rd inning double into a triple Overall: Felix Pie (Licey) 5/19, .263/.263/.368/.631, 2 2B, 0 BB, 2 K Jose Reyes (Esterellas): 1/7, .143/.143/.571/.714, 1 HR, 0 BB, 1 K All teams had Monday off.
  23. Tigres win 5-3 in 10 innings, box: RF B. Coats 1/4 Overall (note: I appear to have missed a BB at some point earlier): 5/22, .227/.320/.364/.684, 1 HR, 3 BB, 5 K
  24. Sunday: Culiacan wins 7-6, box: 3B C. McGehee 1/4, R, HR (1), RBI (8) Overall: 12/41, .293./.341/..463/.804, 1 HR, 4 2B, 3 BB, 5 K No games on Monday in the Mexican Pacific League.
