    Wish he visited Chicago last weekend when it was actually decently warm I don’t know if it’s true and forgot where I saw it but I saw in the last week that Ohtani is basically from and lives in an area of Japan with a similar climate to Minnesota/Wisconsin/Illinois so idk how much he will care about climate especially because it seems like he goes out of his way to be home a lot. I don't know if it's as bad as Minnesota, but every article that mentioned his home town has mentioned its cold winters with quite a bit of snow.

    I wonder if they plan on using him as a starter or reliever, if it’s as a starter that could be an indication they are out on Otani Or they could use him like the Cubs have used Montgomery to help them go to a 6-man rotation.

    Oh yeah, Pete Abraham is salty AF there. Ohtani is coming over to play for pennies on the dollar in a completely foreign country. He should be able to do whatever the horsefeathers he wants to make the best decision he can.
