  3. Don’t know why they aren’t making him a starter. But great to see them potentially not maximize his value. They’ve also relegated Woodruff to the bullpen, which is weird. Hah. The 3 runs the Brewers scored in the 7th were more runs they scored the entire 4-game series against the Cubs.

  5. 5 no-hit innings now. Don’t know this is possible with Duke in person.
  6. Miguel Amaya (73 PA): .292/.370/.538, 11.0% BB%, 17.8% K% and a 152 wRC+ as a 19-year old catcher in A-ball.
  7. Sounds like Gerrit Cole a few years back and his “the Cubs aren’t that good” talk. That tourned out for the Pirates well...... Jake kicked their dick in, in the WC Game and we scared them in to a rebuild. I think cole's "I don't think the cubs are the best team" comment came in early 2016, which is even worse. The cubs turning into a juggernaut has really broken a lot of people's brains. I love it. And there was Josh Harrison singing "No Cubs no" after one of the Pirates 4 wins that year. The Pirates went 4-14 in 2016 against the Cubs. The Brewers can only hope they can get their winning percentage up to .222 against the Cubs this year.

  9. I really would like to see him get a shot at starting.
  10. Albertos’ lack of control this season has been such a disappointment.
  11. It feels like every prep arm who isn’t hurt has helium. I saw that Jonathan India stole the headlines from the Mize/Singer matchup Thursday by homering off Mize.
  12. Why would you change what's clearly working? Because Almora still sucks against RHP and Zobrist is twice the hitter he is. Rizzo is ass right now. And Javy should get more RBI opportunities. Why would you move Rizzo down when you know he’s going to turn the corner and hit like the best hitter in the league in a week or so? He does this slump thing like 3 times a year and turns it around each time.
  13. Figured that was coming with Camargo getting promoted to South Bend.
  14. Let’s sweep these bastards and completely turn them into the 2016 Pirates.
  15. Jesus Camargo has been promoted to South Bend, per Arizona Phil: https://www.thecubreporter.com/04292018/cubs-play-draw-fitch-park#more Luis Vazquez had 2 singles down in Mesa today.
  16. On the other hand, a few people in this thread were going on about Miles Mikolas' crappy spring. He's got a 3.36 ERA now through 33 innings with only 2 walks.

  21. Dillon Maples with the rare 4 strikeout inning today.
  22. Dude, I'm not one to judge or criticize or be a grammar Nazi, but this is like the third time you've called Alec Bohm ... Alec Brohm. Not a big deal, and I didn't say anything the first or second time but that's not how you spell his name lol. Autocorrect clearly isn’t a fan of his name because I have been trying to type Bohm.
