  1. They haven't led me astray with college bats but meh.
  2. Turang and Rolison go off the board. I doubt they go prep arm so I'm rooting for one of the prep bats or McClanahan. 2 pick to go!
  3. Yeah, that definitely worried me about him. It's also why I like the sound of Casas even though he's probably limited to 1B.
  4. So... Brady Singer Shane McClanahan Jackson Kowar Ryan Rolison (I'm meh on him) Trevor Larnach Greyson Jenista (I'm meh on him) Nolan Gorman Triston Casas Noah Naylor Anthony Siegler Xavier Edwards (edited to add him) Brice Turang (signability) Mason Denaburg (signability?) Cole Wilcox Ethan Hankins (signability) Kumar Rocker (signability) Someone very interesting should be there at 24.
  5. I'm guessing Liberatore finally goes here to Tampa but what a fall.
  6. I think there are too many teams ahead of the Cubs that will take a college arm like him (Angels, Cardinals, Twins, Brewers). But the Cubs should take him unless there's someone else they like even more or if there are some issues with his medicals.
  7. We really don't know enough about these guys ability or their signability, to really say a team isn't smart for their pick. All we have our videos and various publication's scouting reports. There was a lot of negative stuff said about the Cubs' draft that netted them Schwarber and Cease and the Cubs did pretty well for themselves there.
  8. Or college arms (Singer, Gilbert, McClanahan, Kowar)?
  9. Highest spin rate curveball ever recorded by TrackMan.
  10. Yeah, that seems like the prevailing opinion here. Stewart to Atlanta, Swaggerty to Oakland, Liberatore to Pittsburgh is my guess.
  11. Ohhh...Weathers at 7. There are going to be some well regarded prep arms still available at 24 and Tom is going to be pissed when the Cubs pass on them because they don't have San Diego, Kansas City or Tampa money.
  12. I don't think the Mets have learned their lesson yet so I see them taking Liberatore. Time to run out and buy some arm insurance. They've actually gone a lot more college recently.
