    Brailyn’s ceiling as a guy who hits 99, gets starter innings, has decent command and offspeed offerings that are projectable as a 19-year old is a TOR starter. The likelihood of reaching that is obviously rather slim and we’ll need more years of health and improvement in his other pitches before we can legitimately discuss that ceiling for a pitcher currently at short season. He definitely has the highest ceiling of any pitcher in the system.

    These national guys need to check in on Brailyn Marquez again. There is absolutely no rationale for Gallardo to be a top 10 prospect over him. I’m guessing he’ll be in the postseason top 5 once they finally get shortseason reports (and Bote will have graduated). There’s definitely a disconnect midseason on breakout guys, especially in leagues that are further away to access for most of the national media.
