    Morel to SB this year? He's hitting now, which is great. But, he went .165/.172/.220 in 91 AB's for Eugene, with no walks and 29 K's...... Feel he's definitely heading back there to have success, before hitting A Ball. Feel confident he sees SB at some point next year though. I can see it. He nearly made SB this spring. He's doing well now and if he keeps it up all summer and into fall instructs, a jump to South Bend to start 2019 wouldn't be unheard of (you'd basically be pretending like his stint in the NWL never happened).

    Maybe. Maybe not. There is a dangerous precedent being set where people are jumping to conclusions without the full context. While some of these people may be genuinely bad guys, I don't think it is fair or productive to keep digging through everyone's past for any sign of a potentially offensive remark. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk It's really nice of you to look at it from the perspective of those unfairly maligned baseball players. While worrying about dangerous precedent, you might want consider what it's like for someone who is gay or a racial minority to see these slurs.

    Two seamer at 89, Four seamer at 91-92, T93. Slider at 82-84. Also throws a curve and a change. He's generally around the plate. Keeps the FB low and can pinpoint it on the outer edges at times. The change was often left up but has arm side run with drift. What was most clear while watching this game is that Amaya is already a good framer of pitches. Better than Contreras, though that's not saying much. Thanks! Was definitely hoping for a bit more velocity.
