It’s actually 6 Ks, but that’s not so bad and I like the walks. It also seems like his defensive game is on point this year So it is. I was looking at the RBI column, apparently.

It’s only 26 PAs but Miguel Amaya has struck out only 3 times (5 walks, .910 OPS).

I think he was scratched late from the lineup the first of those four days so probably. No idea what it is but hopefully it's not serious since he isn't on the IL.

Iowa has thrown 6 no-hit innings so far tonight, which means they’ve now thrown 15 consecutive no-hit innings.

He tweeted this today:

After two games at South Bend, Cayne Ueckert has been promoted to AA Tennessee.

Bryant and Fabian's college strikeout rates aren't at all similar in their sophomore and junior years. Bryant K%: 22.18% as a freshman, 14.45% as a sophomore and 14.57% as a junior. Fabian: 21.74%, 22.22% and 27.70%. Kris also walked more than he struck out his sophomore and junior year (Fabian isn't close to that) and had far better power.

I'm expecting Hill to go to a team with a comp pick or high second rounder because they'll be able to manage the extra bonus demands and are better able to handle the additional risk. Maybe with Hoglund now needing TJS too, both of them can't be funneled to teams with more bonus space. Even with his swing changes that match up with improved contact, I'm not a fan of Fabian. I just am not comfortable with guys who strike out so much in college (call it Brett Jackson flashbacks if you will but it's not like the Dodgers were able to fix Jeren Kendall's contact issues).

Bryan mentioned Yovanny too (and Luis Vázquez is injured too):

Looks like all affiliates are off today. All Cubs full season affiliates are off on Mondays with the new format of the minor leagues.

Yep, far more concerned about Nwogu - especially with the concerns surrounding his swing coming out of college.
