  1. So you're the horsefeathers who pulled Snell in the World Series.

  3. I am happy. Sorry UMFan.
  4. You really think you could get a top 5 pick for Vucevic? 5 worst records in basketball are Minnesota, Houston, Detroit, Orlando, Cleveland. Which one of them is in position to trade their pick for a 31 year old center? I don't disagree he has value but if Vuc is trading its to a team that is farther along in their rebuild process. I was assuming 1+ teams will win the lottery and jump up into the top 4. Or perhaps a 3 way trade. Of course I don’t expect, or even think it’s possible, that he gets traded this offseason. Just kind of saying that Vuc’s value to me is still higher than a 2021 non top 5 pick and a 2023 FRP. He has 2 years FAR below market value after this year. Edit: Minnesota’s pick goes to GSW if it falls out of the top 3 as well. Though I’m sure GSW would rather just keep Wiseman and draft Kuminga/Green than trade for Vuc. Heck, all that said, the Bulls pick is lotto protected too.
  5. Lawler isn't the second coming of A-Rod but you're not accounting for how risky pitcher's health is. I'd probably still take one of the pitchers but it's not just about what you get now - you have to think about what you can get over their first 6 years in the big leagues.
  6. Neck spasms This team cannot win with the version of LaVine for the last 5 games. Seems like that ankle is really hampering him. Just sit him.
  7. BA mock: 1. Lawler 2. Rocker 3. Leiter 4. Mayer 5. de Castillo Guys who have drawn interest from posters in here: Wood went 15, Watson 17, Fabian 22 (what a fall), Ford 25, Hurd 27, Petty 28.
  8. Fair point about Rotowire. But it isn’t the 65 grade on Clarke’s curve that necessarily piqued my interest so much, but rather that they feel his curve is tied for 2nd best in the minors. That’s fun stuff. The 65 rating/second best in the minors was by MLB Pipeline (which IMO is more exciting than minor league comments from Rotowire).
  9. Assuming the Cubs will play a similar amount of alt site games.
  10. And here I thought the best way the Bulls were going to get a second all-star was WIlliams developing or getting lucky in the lottery. Now Joker can get a preview of what it'll be like being on the Bulls once he's a free agent.
  11. Yeesh on the no official games at the complexes.
  12. a steady pass rush is the coverage's best friend A pass rush makes the coverage job easier. You know you don't have to cover for 5 seconds and don't have to really worry about double moves, so you can jump on the first break more aggressively. But the way the NFL is evolving, there's really no such thing as a consistent pass rush (Bucs in SB notwithstanding). I think having guys that can cover is getting more important each season. The last few years, we've seen guys like Jalen Ramsey and Stephon Gilmore (among others) take away team's top WRs and have just as much impact as guys like Mack and Donald. You can get multiple guys dominating to get a pass rush, but typically don't have multiple guys in the secondary that can dominate in coverage. Then again, we saw the Legion of Boom lead a team to a championship in the not too distant past. PFF has been pretty consistent in saying pass coverage is more important than pass rush (I don't subscribe so I haven't read their research).
  13. Oregon State must really love Oklahoma State’s strategy of not giving Cade Cunningham the ball down the stretch.
  14. You’d think a Cub fan would let Ford or Wood drop to the Cubs in his mock!
  15. Shaka Smart with hair looks like Zach de la Rocha.
  16. Everyone talks about how great the Big Ten is but the Pac-12 is gonna end up with 5 teams in the Final Four.
  17. Between that and the KB homer, it was a good day.
  18. Pretty ridiculous Pace played this so he couldn’t even get a Day 3 draft pick for a Pro Bowl CB.
  19. This sucks but I wouldn’t blame him this year. They’ve made a lot of strides but still need a talent infusion.
