  1. Timeline Fri- Additional source confirm Sat- contract details leaked Mon- official Cubs announcement with PC scheduled for Thursday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Really? I think we'll hear something Monday at the latest. If we don't I doubt it happens. PC by next Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. No. It's very much a team defensive scheme and Snell has every skillset you need to be a good second defender, in fact Thibs used him more as a D specialist than on O last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Shouldn't they have learned their lesson after they got their second choice Jaxon? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe throw in a one time cost of a posting fee too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Oh man I totally read right past that when I saw this yesterday and thought it was just a bro love thing. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. Well yea but now it's like a silly HS cliche in a movie where the star QB calls the secretly hot nerdy girl with glasses by the wrong name and she's still smitten. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. He likely has gotten a bit quicker but he was never as un-athletic as he was portrayed. He just kinda looked like a fat kid due to his oversized t-shirt and our brains are incapable of overcoming that bias. Even after he tested middle of the road athletically pre draft people were still acting like he was a stiff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I read a different article that stated it wasn't that Arians was opposed to Rod as the coordinator, he just knew there was no way Rod would stay if asked and that Emery was out of touch in that regards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Rookie PF in crowded front court gets 6 minutes in first game would be a not crazy expectation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe coaching staff? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Tampering! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Why not keep things more interesting for longer into the season for a much wider range of teams? Or just create a double elimination, 128 team (bump up a few extra FCS schools) playoff to replace the regular season, to really make that second loss meaningful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Literally every other major American sport has an overly inclusive playoff system. We can't just have one that isn't? They would never go past 8 because of the additional number of games and all that. If you don't think an 8 team College Football playoff wouldn't be fun as hell to watch, then you're a communist and hate puppies. So Sulley? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm trying to think of the level of player that would make Madden the biggest move and it doesn't excite me. Are we even getting a regular starter or top three SP if that were the case? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 8 instead of four just seems so much better so I hope it doesn't take long. Just include a few more currently non-BCS Bowls for the quarterfinal round and you're set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The fact that cubbyvirus is even speaking him down speaks volumes lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Walters last draft (10/22) has Thompson in the third. Us he just behind here? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. There is a bit of talent to work with, even on defense. Injuries have played a definite toll on the secondary IMO. Some of the DB guys out there Sunday have no business as main contributors. A stud DE would go a long way though to helping out coverage. Browsing the roster last week I was really surprised at the number of UDFA on this roster. I think there were about 8 total. And that's with every drafted player from the past two years still on the roster. Obviously Emery's first draft has contributed, but that was a light draft in picks anyways. Hopefully we can let guys like Washington and Jones get lots of snaps to see what we really have amongst our relatively untested defenders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Feel like that total should be weighted somehow, but yes, he definitely hasn't been a bust as some make him out. But yes, definitely a clown for his celebration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Plenty of wealthy people finance their homes. Plus when he bought the home it was before the housing crash, he didn't make as much as he started making in 2014, and if he was smart and refinanced in the last few years his rate could have been hovering at 3% or less while his extra money earned him 30-40% in a S&P500 Index fund over the same time he would have refinanced. 22. Sims is available, good call. I have a weird obsession with lining up my D so I'd also consider Sims and dropping either Dixon (Buf) or Matt Ryan who I don't really need anymore but in theory could have keeper value as I picked him up cheap. All that said I have a extra roster spot I'm losing if Pierre Thomas is upgraded at all, and I'd have to decide between him and any new add. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I'll take Dalton, Big Ben. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have nearly half my team on a bye so no real choices to make though I feel pretty confident in my lineup anyways with the two primary subs being Terrence Williams and DeSean Jackson at Flex/WR. That being said I am contemplating some waiver wire moves. Thinking Suisham or Dawson as my new kicker (Suisham I'd have to replace one more time with a week 12 bye). Wanting a new RB or 2 as backups. All done with bye weeks for my top 3 after this week, but not much depth. Have a claim for Alfred Blue. Any other deep sleepers or handcuffs worth considering at RB? I'm gonna put a claim on Cin D otherwise for my "D by committee" as they have a good looking schedule. I'm sure they'll be a popular claim this week though with Jac and I'm 9 on the waiver order. Also tempted to put a claim in at WR for LaFell even though my WR need is pretty low. ETA if I go D over another RB now I'm thinking Ravens, with this playoff lineup Min, Jac, Hou, Cle. 25. I owe the Astros an apology. I'm still a little shocked he's playing let alone walking after watching that initial replay from earlier this summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
