  1. Given that the Bears already have one guy rehabbing a knee injury at the same position, I find it highly unlikely that they sign another guy with the same exact problem. I think they figure out a way to swing a deal for Landry that doesn't break the bank. Might as well go for bust on the injury front. Robinson, Meredith, White (lol). Better than giving up assets and a big payday for a sub 6 foot, sub 10 ypc WR.
  2. So Dallas gets a fine, but the NBA is actively stepping into Bulls management and coaching decisions?
  3. I don't know if one dimensional is quite fair, but yea, he sucks at catching the ball. I've read elsewhere, not sure if it's true, but supposedly Nagy called the most shotgun runs in the league last year. Highest yards/rush out of shotgun: Jordan Howard. So I'm not sure the fit thing us true. That said, it's just hard to trust RB longevity, do I'm not tied to Howard if the right deal existed to capitalize in him.
  4. Dude has got big D, what can I say.
  5. I'm confused as to why a lesbian is the authority on this. The time two lesbians complimented my ass and asked to grab it was the most flattering moment of my life.
  6. don't see why they wouldn't. 4/5 are interchangeable these days (almost feels like a cliche at this point, you hear it so much). I mean I was a fan of positionless basketball before positionless basketball was a thing, but there is still a question off competing/complementing skills. The Good thing is Lori's d has gotten more impressive reviews than his pre-draft valuations. You probably still want a big rim protecting presence as your third big with that pairing, but it does seem like it can work as Lori won't get pushed around by most bigs, especially as he matures.
  7. Yea, I mean, it comes down to how much him and Lori can plan next to each other. If they can share 15min a game, they can both be pieces going forward, else you move Portis before he becomes a FA.
  8. Yea I'm kind of embarrassed to admit now that calling Forte my favorite Bear ever was a dumb oversight. Favorite offensive player (low bar that it is) and top 3 though.
  9. in seeing this i tried to come up with mine and i kept going between cutler, urlacher, and mike brown. I mean Cutler definitely has a huge place in my heart, but a good 30% of that is basically the cult of Smokin Jay/don't care Jay. I thought about throwing a "among non-HOF player" clause in there cuz of Urlacher. Brown is a good one too though.
  10. He's might be my favorite Bear of all time honestly (that I actually watched).
  11. so am i correct in that sims, massie, and cooper are the only players on this list that haven't been cut yet? and maybe wheaton? i've read conflicting things about him. Yeah, you're right. Cooper and Wheaton are still being evaluated evidently. No idea why, as both were flat out awful. Cooper had son decent play this year, at times. Not sure if there's any deadline on his guarantees, but there's only like one other CB under contract, sooooo no need to rush a decision.
  12. Ugh can I get a text of that, that's awful.
  13. No thanks on giving up picks and overpaying for Landry. Doing one of those is bad enough. You would gain picks in his scenario you dolt That's not how it works.
  14. I'd say DeBrincat but the shelf life of young talent in Chicago tends to be short. That's not one of the cheap ones. Kane, Toews, Keith, or Crawford all showing NHL.com shop discounts, particularly on home uniforms.
  15. So I'm getting a bunch of ads on here for really cheap Hawks sweaters. Is there a new uniform supplier or is it related to them being a bunch of sucky sucks? Also, which should I bite on? Kane kinda rapey Toews kinda sucky. Crawford maybe dead?. Just go blank sweater?
  16. Upper deck box infield is a good view and a good way to make sure their first time isn't blocked by a pole. Either of the sections all the way down the line, (200-202 or 240-242) are a good way to ensure you don't get a pole, and you're fairly close to the field, but you are limiting your best view of the entire field. Still you can sometimes score a decent value on those tickets compared to infield sections.
  17. people i know who interact with him say he's a bag. matt spiegel has alluded to it too in conversations on the score. that said, it's one thing for athletes to be a jerk to grown ass men who pester them...he's a well liked teammate and he's great with kids. that's all that actually matters. I know a pastor who worked at Lurie's as chaplain and had interactions with him and seems to adores him.
  18. Zero. I was pretty young though. The first Cubs acquisition I remember being excited over was Delino Deshields in 2001 (lol wtf- I think i just thought it was a cool name). Anyways Nomo went on to average almost 3 war/yr over the next 5 years, so lol cobs. first acquisition i was excited about was todd zeile lol. my brother told me he was good. man i was SUPER excited about those randy johnson rumors in 98. and mike piazza. what a horsefeathers GM lynch was. that era could've been crazy differently. a few months later we trade noel and garland anyway for trash. i think there were also sheffield rumors in 96 for a bit. and bobby bonilla was rumored all the time. oh and idk if anyone is here from the old AOL boards in the 90s, but i remember falling for some insane barry bonds rumor from a message board insider that involved chad meyers, robin jennings, orie, kieschnick or some other trash like that...it had to be 96 or 97 Yea now that you mention it, I do remember excitement about Piazza rumors. I don't remember any Randy Johnson rumors. I mean 98 is obviously really got me hooked as a fan (I was 10). before that it was mostly me watching because that's what my grandpa watched in the summer (or listened to on the radio). But I think for whatever reason I never got too into acquisitions and rumors and the like. I just rooted for whoever was a Cub. Trade deadline 2001 (McGriff too) is what probably got me paying attention to the acquisition side of things.

  20. Not at all.
  21. Bears v Ravens HOF game. Middle Linebacker HOF showdown.
  22. Failure to execute on the field and in the front office. Soooooo the Cardinals problem is that they suck? Okay, got it. Everything you post is instantly hilarious since you made that your sig.
  23. Lavine with a godawful shot. Butler with a godawful foul. Three FTs and the tank L. :?
  24. Lavine going with a ton of iso here. Bulls trying to kill the tank streak against one of the best teams in the league.
