  1. It would be pretty incredible if he did.
  2. If there is a US league where a loan type system might ever make sense it would be the NBA, definitely not NBA. NBA definitely has interest in a better developmental model- will be interesting if they ultimately fall in the NHL, MLB, and Soccer models (or likely some combination of all) MLB model is established though. It's not changing significantly- only area it may is the International FA market.
  3. I didn't realize that Dirk debuted the same year as VC, but he's also a full 18 months younger. Balling at a higher level still, but still seems less shocking somehow than VC still trucking.
  4. Vince Carter signed for another go around, with the Hawks this time. How many NBA players this year will be younger than his NBA career (Feb 5, 1999 debut)
  5. Cutler arguably hit several of those 7 traits listed, but that's not the type of average QB Chicago wants. If you're elite you can be whatever you want to be, but if you're gonna be average, you better be a gritty mouthbreathing thick onion gravying [expletive] to make it in this town.
  6. Shame on you doubters
  7. Hurts specifically in the knee area Nee Hurd
  8. There's gonna be lots of lineup combos with 4 floor spacers. And even Dunn has room to grow in that area hopefully. Ideally you gotta get Lavine and Parker to operate in the flow of the offense where all that spacing gives them easy opportunities instead of forcing ISO.
  9. He is a National Treasure.
  10. And, let's be honest; Trevor Larnach isn't much better. Other horrifying names I picked up from that game last night: Adley, Zebulon, Kole, Jax, Easton, Kacey, Heston, and Kyler. Freaking white people and their awful millennial names. Are any of these kids even millenials anymore?
  11. billups comps were horsefeathering bonkers all night. They were laughable. Almost every single one of them. I liked all the ones where he stressed that his comp was specifically a young version of a player. MPJ is a YOUNG Durant. Lonnie Walker is a YOUNG DWade. I'm not sure what point he was trying to stress?
  12. Yea, comps are dumb anyways, but a Boozer like career value would beat the average number 7 pick.
  13. The "core" (age) Dunn (24) Lavine (23) Hutchinson (22) Markannen (21) Carter Jr (19) Portis (23) Need some luck next draft still...
  14. Use that Jordan Bell cash. Or take on some contracts.
  15. I mean I'm sure I'll end up liking WCJ, sounds like a well rounded player, but this definitely is a let down.
  16. I feel like option two would open the door for Manfred to take other creative liberties with rules of the game. Before you know it, its baseketball.
  17. Interesting... wonder who they like in the back half of the lottery? And could this mean the long rumored Chandler Hutchinson promise is bunk (I have to imagine getting back in the lotto requires 22).
  18. I definitely prefer consistency across leagues, but if there was a big desire for a middle ground, I like the proposal where the DH is tied to the SP, so when he exits its NL rules. Gets rid of most the bad at bats while leaving lots of the strategy part.
  19. Looks like the Knicks can't take on Parson. But, I never underestimate their ability to make dumb trades so maybe they'll find a third team and give up everything else of value they have to make it happen.
  20. So what does ATL want for #3?
  21. The Bulls would definitely still have to trade or sign a dynamic wing player at some point who the offense could flow through and facilitate to fully utilize the Bamba/Markannen front court.
