    Yea Sims is not good. Too bad that Shaheen got hurt. He probably is bad too, but at least young and bad. Would rather see Braunecker at this point (who can likewise at least be young and bad)

    Someone mentioned if he throws that pass it gets picked by Dix, don't know if that's a fact if Trubisky goes low on throw or high towards the back of the end zone. He's got to see that receiver coming open before Dix is in position to make a play. There was absolutely a window for an easy TD throw there Which player is Dix here? I cant imagine who is supposed to close out on a 20 yard throw there.

    checks out I think that one to the left about 25 was actually one of his best throws of the night and bounced off Sims gut. Point stands, though.

    Man, I don't think that's true. Bears had a strong opening quarter, then beat up on Deshone Kizer for a couple series before absolutely [expletive] the bed the entire second half.

    Am I wrong thinking extensions usually get done before week 1 or not at all? Do we expect Amos to get an extension? Outside of Amos, the other starters or significant role players who could hit FA next year are Kush, Massie, O'Donnell, Scales, Callahan, Roberston-Harris (RFA). Only one of those guys has an obvious built in replacement. Simms is probably the only obvious cut to save additional space. I don't think the 30M originally speculated next off season (post Mack deal) is going to go that far. Maybe some creative deals squeezes in some extra 2019 cap for another FA upgrade, but this team is banking mainly on internal improvement now; the chips are mostly in.

    Dayum. 1st place to 2nd place; 35 extra bases. Second place to last place; 28 extra bases. ETA, Javy somehow doesn't lead the category which I am forced to assume means he has taken too many singles 1st to home and dropped his ranking.

    They lose him for nothing if he comes back week 11 and finishes out the season too. Pittsburgh could technically franchise him again. No if he accrues a service year, he'll be granted his FA.

    For anyone else with issues there is an option to use Gravatar on the drop down list instead of linking to a external link. Takes 2 minutes to set up a login for an external site which hosts a avatar image for you (and can be used on other boards that have it) using just your email. :good: Now can I update my dumb username? (22 was for Mark Prior and teenage me was apparently suuupppper uncreative)
