I'm in Vegas and I can't watch the horsefeathering Cubs on MLB.tv because they're playing the horsefeathering Arizona Diamondbacks. horsefeathering stupid nonsensical blackout rules. I mean I can watch it at any book but that's not my point. -
saw all that years ago when there was nothing better to do as a cubs fan than look up youtube clips of our prospects

yes it is really depends on how you're looking at it (if you're talking about the fact that you already had these cheap years locked in and figuring that as lost value or whatever)...but on a pure $/WAR basis, it really isn't. note that i'm not including the option years.

nico is a fun name and a way cooler way to shorten nicholas than "nick," so for that reason alone i hope he is awesome it's a first name only kind of first name

i definitely don't discount the possibility that he can figure out how to avoid walks a little better and be a useful, maybe even valuable, piece of an MLB bullpen for a season or three (and i know you were being sarcastic and referencing the argument in the other thread)
