  1. get his ass up and send down almora
  2. i don't get it It feels like many of your stories here seem to involved you talking about how insanely drunk you got. damn... i must've blacked those out.
  3. as much as i usually want to punch trueblood in the face, i'll go ahead and still share this [tweet] [/tweet]
  4. i don't get it
  5. i'll never forget lights out marmol
  6. Well, wouldn't best case be good Marmol? Because that slider is filth. i'm not sure he'd ever be able to get his BB/9 even to the 4-5 range that good marmol was at. later on it was higher but he was still a pretty good reliever
  7. stupid people fixating on strikeouts and how bad they can make you I mean, sure. But they were a problem for Happ, few guys can be overly successful with 30%+ k rates. He had clear holes in his swing, he’s never going to be a low K guy but it’s good to see him not doing it in 20 ABs. think his post was pure sarcasm aimed at the guy pointing out how people are "fixated" on it
  8. best case is he like the later years marmol who was bad but still kinda good?
  9. best if you consider games played
  10. so sad that the account has been mostly abandoned since 2015
  11. must not try to let my mind go to picturing harper in rf and heyward in cf on this team
  12. I couldn't understand it at the time when I read his HS scouting reports and I'll never, ever, understand it, how our FO, thought they should use a 6 on this guy.I mean, he made it to the big leagues and has had some degree of success, this year notwithstanding. I'm no fan of his, but that's a success as far as draft picks go.
  13. why did i read that
  14. Yeah, I figured when someone is trying to gauge whether or not someone had a "good career" as a baseball player, why are we, as fans, going to weigh whether or not they basically had job stability as a factor? Tons of average and unremarkable players have very, very long careers (as starting players), and dudes like Panda and Castro ultimately have put up numbers that show them to generally be pretty average guys. this reminds me of when the tebow thing was happening and i was telling my coworker that tebow sucks and he's all "well he must not suck, he's in the nfl!"
  15. Shawon Dunston had a long career as a big league regular and he horsefeathering sucked. 1800+ games and 17 years of garbage.

  17. That was definitely annoying
  18. It's a little disingenuous but it's still cool https://twitter.com/RobertZeglinski/status/1122237238253948928
