Why are you not enjoying this? I hate the people that call out those that are negative, because I am that way well over half the time, but your thoughts about this team seem to be particularly negative. Teams slump all the time. The Cubs have done it several times this year, only to bounce back and score 7-8 runs for a good stretch. I just hate it when we are losing, it chews up my insides. Believe me Ive enjoyed this season a great deal. I love this team, probably the best in my lifetime. I just hate it when they go long stretches without scoring. like less than 24 hours? seriously, ease up.

Not an error because you can't assume the DP. The run scored from third but the ball didn't get away far enough to allow Ward to advance a base (if it had gotten away an error would have been recorded). The ball would have to end up in Evanston for Ward to advance a base. Have you ever been to Evanston? It's not that far from Wrigley.
