    This is not a drill. THIS THING STARTS IN AN HOUR. For a 15% premium and 20% premium...so you have to pay more to get tickets early if I'm understanding that right? That's correct. I think they've been doing this for years now, though.

    To anyone who missed it, there's a pre-sale today that started at 10 for season ticket holders, but then at noon for the general public. If you're looking for opening day tickets or some other high demand game, it might be wise to suck it up and pay the pre-sale premium. This is not a drill. THIS THING STARTS IN AN HOUR.

    it'll be kinda anticlimactic for me on that end. i don't think that can get better than watching their reaction to literally getting donged into space in the playoffs.

    that series was when playoffs and stuff started to feel really real, even though our chance to catch them was still slim. it was a combination of beating their asses good with a bunch of dongs and the slightly crisp weather and the sun at that early fall angle. relevant baseball in september.

    I think you are missing the bigger point here. i'm not. it's very weird to call for that information unless you're 80 years old. especially if you have thousands of posts on an internet message board. that's the biggest point. the other point is that what i'm saying about wrigley field isn't important, which i acknowledged when i said JUST SAYING jeez. i just thought it was funny to point out in addition to what is already weird/funny about this.
