  1. that's not exclusive to OH. it's not my site and I don't contribute enough (monetarily) to complain, but there's obviously a lot of freshening up that could be done. i know i've seen the logan offer to do some graphics/logo a few times. Hey, NSBB works, and we all appreciate that, so all of this stuff is basically just cosmetic suggestions. I just think with this place ideally getting more traffic with the Cubs being awesome that it looking more alive and Cub-like could really help bring people in and keeping them around. Logan doing some logos/designs would be awesome. Agreed

  3. nah you had that whole post divorce thing where you had everyone add you on fb to make your ex mad or something.
  4. The chart isn't hard to read, his narrative/tweet on it was a little weird I think its wrong, too. Bryant didnt start any games at 1B or CF, let alone multiple at each, did he? I know he was subbed into CF a few times, but not started. Bryant definitely started at both 1B and CF. Only once each, I think, though.
  5. Whatever, before your daughter you used to post pictures of your bitches all day long. so this guy has been here long enough to remember bob sanders from like 2006 WHO ARE YOU!?
  6. This tweet makes my brain hurt. Explain it to me. It isn't anything you didn't already know, apart from the fact that Fowler has never started anywhere apart from CF (twice), and Montero has at least TWO starts in both LF and RF during his career, which is stunning. FTFY
  7. Soler was smiling and clapping when Fowler walked up. Then again, he might not have known just like Ross lol
  8. something something dump something feces on hands from wiping ass
  9. I didn't even realize NSBB had one.
  10. http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=ALL&teamid=17 A small gain to 53.6. If everyone stays healthy, this is a modest boost at best. Where this really helps us is if someone gets injured. And, of course, in the World Series. Well, the redundancy should come into account in what is a median projection that theoretically takes into account downside like injuries (as well as upside)...their median should be higher if they are more protected against injuries.
  11. http://m.mlb.com/video/v543458083/bryant-talks-about-his-engagement-preparing-for-2016/?query=cubs Check out about 2:15
  12. [tweet] [/tweet]
  13. [tweet] [/tweet] Soler is excited too
  14. i think/hope maddon will be able to find him enough PAs, especially if he has good at bats and looks like he deserves them.
  15. reminds me of when my soriano in CF dreams ended after like one day except heyward would be a lot better than that...i just didn't care about defense back then.
  16. [tweet] [/tweet] [tweet] [/tweet] sigh...whatever. heyward in RF and fowler in CF is still gonna cover a hell of a lot of ground.
  17. http://www.metsrefugees.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3747321&postcount=18 guys... IF we trade for a pitcher, we'll be scary.
  18. So what do the projections look like now?
  19. Mojo, do you love Dex now at least a little?
  20. horsefeathers the whole "the game is filled with smart GMs now" stuff. theo plays chess, everyone else plays checkers.
  21. I'm mildly concerned that that won't be the case. I know we don't give many [expletive], but moving Heyward to CF and Fowler to RF is hard to see. And I'm having a hard time not seeing Fowler start a lot, but who knows. If it were me, he'd be our super 4th OF...and maybe there's room for him to be that and still get everyone enough starts and PAs. In terms of maximizing defense, wouldn't Fowler in LF, Heyward in CF and Soler/Schwarbs in RF probably give us the best defense? Taking Fowler's arm into consideration it probably is, I think. Sounds reasonable to me.
  22. we all thought that about swapping Castro & Russell in the field true, but it took castro sucking donkey nuts and losing his starting job
  23. more succinctly: http://i.imgur.com/c4jt321.png exactly what i was thinking
