  1. haha i love rizzo looking right at the ump saying safe
  2. At least it wasn't a 400 foot out. yeah if he's not scared of a brick wall there, that might just be an out
  3. that's what i get for making fun just don't let him score now plz
  4. lol seriously tho they've got taylor and his like .200 career obp at leadoff while daniel murphy hits 5th?
  5. i've seriously hated that oh what a night song since i first heard it. lastella was made for me to hate him. that said, hell yeah tommy!
  6. http://gatewayredbirds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1668610#p1668610 dude...i've WATCHED him
  7. it was beautiful here too today, but nighttime by the lake is a different story
  8. lol at this guy batting leadoff for them http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=11489&position=OF never change, dusty
  9. Gee, I seem to remember Six Finger, Farnsworth, Remlinger and Sweaty Joe Borowski being pretty solid in '03. It's so Dusty to be talking about this now, but he's not really wrong. He did the same horsefeathers in 08, saying he was set up to fail after 04.
  10. and then we trade him for a useful pitcher? Yeah, same We could use a really good left fielder more than a pitcher.
  11. It's not a small gap between lefties and righties Joe Ross thus far in his career http://i.imgur.com/vs2giaj.png Maddon puts guys in a position to succeed. Putting Javy and Jorge in there probably isn't doing them any favors.
  12. [tweet]https://twitter.com/DexterFowler/status/728313257619009537[/tweet]
  13. Probably a good thing since we have Hendricks going and Ross doesn't give up dongs anyway. in 99 career innings, joe ross gives up 0.63 HR/9 innings...kyle hendricks gives up .7 HR/9 innings in 283 career innings (.39 so far this year). since the beginning of 2015, hendricks has given up 0.8 HR/9 innings, which is good for 22nd lowest among qualified pitchers in that span.
  14. I doubt Heyward goes on the DL. He's close and they were talking about him being 50/50 to play today.
  15. Bruce is talking about us and our dying platform [tweet] [/tweet]
  16. Anthony Rizzo (except he was 23, not 24). And Kyle wasn't wrong. Just because something isn't probable to happen doesn't make it impossible.
  17. The 98 Yankees won 114 games while only going 15-11 in September. They had won 100 games by September 4th. Jesus Christ. Just horsefeathering silly.
