  1. i horsefeathering love brisbee more and more every day
  2. that includes his contribution on defense. and on the bases. Be patient with me as I learn. So his fielding/baserunning is in the plus but his offense has been so bad that it still adds to a negative, or his defense/baserunning is also negative? his overall contribution has been 0.4 wins so far. that's a pace of under 2 wins (which would be a below average regular). that includes what he has contributed on defense, offense, and on the bases in the form of runs. he has been worth negative runs on offense. his defense, while very good, isn't enough to make him an above average player this year when he has been a .281 wOBA hitter (or 71 wRC+...100 is average). in fact, it's very impressive that he manages to even sniff "average regular" status with how putrid he has been offensively.
  3. hey goony finally got to see (and make fun of) one of julie dicaro's hot sports takes
  4. kicked in the nuts, wind knocked out of you, sometimes a sprained knee looks really bad stubbed toe literally like every injury KB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. i thought the bases were gonna clear off the bat...i was so confused
  6. sprained ankles do exactly that (this obviously isn't a sprained ankle...but you see injuries that aren't that serious cause immediate severe pain that then dissipates all the time)
  7. um what the hell just happened? how the horsefeathers didn't arrieta score on that?
  8. he should try relying on it less like an actual good pitcher would
  9. no, i'm talking overall..he's on pace for a sub-2 win season. [expletive] that. Dude has been a beast on defense and that [expletive] has helped make us awesome. that includes his contribution on defense. and on the bases.
  10. I know you are talking offense, but we've been amazing in part because of him too. no, i'm talking overall..he's on pace for a sub-2 win season.
  11. wtf...he was safe..you see the glove pop back when the ball actually hits the glove, after javy's foot hits.
  12. that's another sport where i'd imagine they are more cautious on the recovery
  13. at least we've been amazing with heyward being very bad and we have a solid cushion in the division
  14. does anyone remember how long it took greinke to come back from his broken collar bone? i know tony romo has missed some serious time with them but i'd imagine the recovery requirements are a little less for a baseball player
  15. what the hell is going on over there..first the thing with their LF and span, then bryant does that
  16. i seriously have no clue what that injury was
  17. Time says, "No" thats the joke...it was made while he was like 20-25 pitches deep oh no heyward
