    Why the [expletive] would they do that? so that the silent majority speaks more loudly than the squeaky wheel that = the bar owners? not that i'm endorsing this as some great plan, but i'd imagine that's what he meant

    that's billy hamilton territory, no? that can't be right. Remember that one time when someone laughed at the idea that Almora had speed? i remember when someone found it funny to say someone whose speed has always been talked about as a knock would be put on the playoff roster for speed like he's billy hamilton or quentin berry or something coming in to steal a base down 1 in the 9th.

    i've actually sort of passively boycotted that site in my incredulity at their awful business model/idea and the delusion that accompanies it. don't even want to give them the clicks when the articles are free. THANKS DAVELL FOR NOT WARNING ME. jk i don't actually care that much but that site is a stupid ass idea.

    so the cubs are apparently being forced to restrict access to the plaza to ticketholders only on game days which i'm pretty sure is a far cry from what they intended/hoped to do with their business horse horsefeathers. first the rooftops were the pain in the ass, now the bar owners.

    Today on MLB Now they mentioned that Texas was #1 in cluster luck. EDIT: just looked it up here and the Cubs are #2 weird, as i thought that's more or less what base runs is attempting to measure and the cubs are actually underperforming what baseruns says they should be doing http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=BaseRuns
