  1. Yup. He is trash. Chapman's eighth inning hangup is really irritating right now
  2. Basically depending on if you are an idiot
  3. Can we please get this piece of garbage off the mound
  4. This is not a thought I've ever even come close to having
  5. with that dong tonight russell probably eclipsed his 2015 WAR total in 30 fewer games. also should be passing the 3 win mark very soon.
  6. you found a random guy at a baseball game who knows what WAR is?
  7. i thought that was a disaster for a second
  8. in reality, isn't he only sitting against one righty? hoffman, right?
  9. apparently pearl jam is playing on the roof of murphys right now so i wound up selling my tickets today...plans changed and two of the people we were going with couldnt go and then i saw what they were going to and it was not pass-uppable. but i'm still sad about it.
  10. i cant even believe i shared that on here but, horsefeathers, this is a three page thread about ass wiping
  11. gotta go both ways. i discovered this at some point in my teens when i had the epiphany that i should try a back to front wipe after the last front to back wipe checked out clean...i dont know exactly wtf is going on down there but it suddenly dawned on me that i had been leaving my ass dirty my whole life up to that point. just because it's clean in one direction doesn't mean it is in both. always start front to back tho so i'm not wiping the heavier stuff into my balls at the beginning.
  12. don't think anyone even speculating on a return this year would go as far as to think they'd put him in LF or C...more like pinch hit weapon off the bench, maybe world series DH oh man how awesome would that be. Schwarbs spends 4 weeks in Arizona hitting and getting his timing and then becomes the DH for game 1 of the World Series. The only [expletive] thing about that scenario is him not being in the dugout for the playoff run. complete tangent but it just hit me how insane our road world series crowds will be (whenever that happens)...we already show up big time on the road in the playoffs. i can't imagine how overwhelming it would be in the series and how pissed off the other fanbase will be as a result.
  13. I certainly want Schwarber back and destroying baseballs again, but unfortunately even if he is healing and regaining strength and all that -- there just isn't enough time left to send him to the minors or AZ to get game ready. Another problem is that we play in the wrong league -- no DH. Schwarber for this yr at least, is most likely only a DH right now. Getting full mobility, agility and the reps needed to play C and LF adequately would take a while. I'm not saying there is no chance, but its low. Very low chances unfortunately...maybe >1% (especially if they go far in the playoffs), but not by that much. No way is there a 10% of coming back this yr sadly. don't think anyone even speculating on a return this year would go as far as to think they'd put him in LF or C...more like pinch hit weapon off the bench, maybe world series DH
  14. I say 5% because every once in a while this FO does some crazy aggressive horsefeathers when you think they might err on the side of caution. Plus he seems pretty far along in his recovery already. But the reality is it'd be really hard for him to get up to game speed (even though we do have a massive lead and a bunch of basically meaningless games coming up).
  15. I think it's non-zero, but not nearly as high as 20%. Like 5%
