Hendricks got the guy to swing at a pitch way low and outside, but he poked it softly down the line. Perfectly placed to hit the ump in foul territory after passing the bag fair. of course it had to be some tomfoolery like this

i'm pretty excited about watching our WR corps and fangio running a defense with a lot more talent than last year. my biggest concern is OL but i could see it being a pretty decent run blocking unit, at least.

YESSSSSSSSSSS GIMME THE FLAME THROWING TORP PROSPECT

i remember kyle writing something about alcantara being very good after a few weeks in the majors, possibly based on his contact rates, but i don't remember any specific indictment of other prospects as part of it. seems like this would be easy enough to look up. probably somewhere in august/sept of 2014.

god if we didn't inexplicably become shitty for about 4 weeks, we'd totally break the wins record (i didn't check the math on this at all but yeah)

how far off is the hybrid fWAR + DRS from bWAR anyway? isn't that the key difference between the two (for position players)?
  15. David
And that's Willy being severely penalized for being a shitty LF instead of a really good C

Imagine then if like heyward becomes heyward or Soler continues to head to beastdom or schwarber is the next Brian Giles or Contreras blah blah. Yeah basically this team is really sick I'm not sure about the pitching, but I expect the offense to basically be playing the game on easy mode next year. I basically believe that between bosio and Theo, pitching magic is being performed

I always figured he'd get to that level, just thought it was a year or two away. Imagine then if like heyward becomes heyward or Soler continues to head to beastdom or schwarber is the next Brian Giles or Contreras blah blah. Yeah basically this team is really sick

Man what if Russell is turning into a bryzzo level player? That might be enough to break the playoff crapshoot (not really but yeah)

what do you suppose he should do to not get him rbi opportunities on this team? bench him? play montero more?
  21. David
is 50 entirely out of the question at this point? would be ridic but i could see 45 for sure
  22. David
give that man the MVP already
  23. David
i was completely expecting heyward to catch that somehow
