Blows my mind that Arrieta was on that team. I mean, I knew it, but it's still nuts. Like he became a different person in 2014 and then a super hero in 2015.

Yep. It's crazy to think that he was a part of so much of that losing and now is a huge part of this. Seeing how much he clearly enjoys playing and winning, I can't imagine what kind of toll those few years took on him. Aside from like Travis Wood, he's the only one who was around for that (what year did we take Rondon in the Rule 5?)...

i find the relief delightful I don't miss playoff/world series baseball. That horsefeathers was stressful. But I do miss the idea of just having a game to watch. I wonder how the regular season will feel. There is going to be a different feel and dynamic when it comes to this ball club now and it's going to be odd. I look forward to it. We're going to have a horsefeathering ring ceremony on opening day holy horsefeathers they should also hang banners on the new west exterior of the park by the plaza anyway, yeah, going into the offseason without disappointment is a lot less sad. not to mention it's a month shorter than usual. i'm just going to soak this in all horsefeathering winter. -
this is so cool that the whole country got to see on a national stage exactly how fun and great this team is like now everybody knows

XZero77 is Theo. My finances would be in far better shape if I were. In retrospect, pounding two bottles of champagne in a very short period of time after not drinking for about a decade was ill advised. I don't regret doing that, but I both rue and lament it. But ibuprofen and a Cubs world series title have taken the edge off this morning/afternoon. holy horsefeathers this is hilarious
