  1. I'm getting nachos and we're horsefeathering winning this game
  2. We will win tomorrow and double that horsefeathers
  3. I've played so much poker and seen so many 15% things happen. Let's horsefeathering do this thing.
  4. Not to mention any major injury or underperformance risk going into the season
  5. For this team, I'm not so sure about that. What would you have put the Cubs odds of winning the World Series at going into the season, and how does that compare to the odds of winning 3 straight games against another championship-caliber team? Probably fairly close. But at least I've locked in league championship and getting to see my team in the World Series.
  6. I guess if you told me before the season that my team would be in a position to win the world series if they win three straight games, I'd take that every time.
  7. we know, it's just not enough to ease the pain Yeah I know. It sucks. But we got this still. Also, I take back what I said. I'm mad at Lackey. horsefeathers that guy.
  8. It blows my mind that people still just don't understand baseball to this extent. This team lost games to the horsefeathering brewers FFS. I'm sad (and hopeful) and mad about this game but I'm not mad at the players or looking to blame someone.
  9. Maybe I have the wrong dude but I thought you said it was gonna take a 3-1 comeback. We're gonna do this horsefeathers.
  10. Now let's go win the horsefeathering Lester vs short rest Bauer game
  11. That's what I'm worried about. So many things went right this season and now they're losing to a team missing two of its three best pitchers and one of their two best players. None of the matchup crap matters much. We will keep getting spins at the wheel and hopefully get our number pulled a time or two. Could still happen this year even. The 2004 and 2006 Cardinals are probably the best example of this.
  12. I hope you left your debbie downer doom boner from last night at home. That was an all out reverse jinx. But I think that ruins it, so it wasn't. Congrats on breaking that 60-whatever year drought, Cleveland.
  13. I can't believe this is happening. I still can't horsefeathering believe it.
  14. Oh hey, guys. Just sitting at Wrigley Field for a world series game. Nbd.
  15. orrrrr EXACTLY what we need
  16. Did we find Vlahos' profile on here? Also the whole damn team is Theo guys, except Willy & JB who Theo seem to love. Apparently 180m to Heyward that Theo gave him makes Jhey a Hendry guy. And even they were developed by this regime. They were extremely raw when this FO took over.
  17. The Indians had themselves in perfect positions so many times last night. I found myself thinking that they've had comparatively oodles of time to watch tapes and otherwise study for this series. Wish the Blue Jays could have snagged at least one from them. I bet the Rangers were pissed - best team in the AL, and they go three and out in the first round. THAT would be a crazymaking result. The Rangers were not the best team in the AL. They were the worst team in the playoffs. Just saying.
  18. we had basically everything this year http://m.mlb.com/video/v871731783/chccin-rizzo-hits-an-insidetheparker-in-the-1st/?query=rizzo+inside+the+park
  19. meh. i was all about looking at those odds earlier on in the playoffs, but they're really pointless to look at now.
  20. world series deficit calls for riding the butters wave anyway
  21. What the horsefeathers is wrong with you? Sorry is this attacking the post or the poster? I'll add Soler to the list of guys I shouldn't criticize, lest I get cussed out. you really still haven't forgiven theo for letting aramis walk have you
  22. I can't believe people here actually think Heyward would've caught that ball
  23. Well, those guys are actually a lot better hitters than Javy
