  1. considering some pitchers have pitched through UCL tears without knowing it, seems kinda weird he'd require surgery for his glove arm. but w/e. maybe it's a severity thing.
  2. yeah, i'd do it.

  4. wow ian happ so weird...there was talk of him not having a position but he seems more than adequate in a few spots
  5. do you realize how insane this post is given the fact that the brewers are 2 games up on the cubs? all that praise you're heaping on them and they are 2 games better than the team you are disappointed in. See, this is when things start to get taken out of context. As I have said several times, I do NOT think the Brewers are great. I do NOT think they would be doing anything in a different division. In this division this year, I simply think they have been the most impressive of the five teams. If that's heaping praise on them, I guess so be it. I just think they are the best team in a really embarrassing division that should have the Cubs leading by like 10 games right now. the cubs should be leading by 10 games but are not the best team in an embarrassing division... hmmm :-k
  6. the brewers are like a game ahead of the cubs and have overachieved highly, while the cubs have underachieved across the board. this leads you to believe the brewers are the best team in the division and the most well rounded team? you are back in full july 2015 PleaseWinCubs mode I believe the Brewers have the best offense in the division this season. I believe that entering July, they have had the best starting rotation. I believe they have an awful bullpen except for their lights out closer and perhaps a small jolt with the call up of Josh Hader. I believe the Cubs should have by far and away the best team in the division this season. I also believe that I haven't come close to seeing that and have started to doubt it's going to come due to a season-long struggle in both the rotation and on offense. I can't really apologize for thinking this. It's just what I think. I urge you to not think I'm freaking out about this. We won the World Series last season, and so being totally distraught about the Cubs just isn't possible. do you realize how insane this post is given the fact that the brewers are 2 games up on the cubs? all that praise you're heaping on them and they are 2 games better than the team you are disappointed in.
  7. This is not true I guess I'm still searching for that point during the season that what is happening on the field matters and is an indication of what to expect. April and May is too early, for sure. But I just struggle to know when the cut off is, even though there can't be an official one. Sometimes teams take off in July, sometimes they fade. Sometimes they don't do well from the start and stay that way. The Cubs have looked pretty much the same since the opening series against the Cards to me. I struggle at times trying to determine what that means. the brewers are like a game ahead of the cubs and have overachieved highly, while the cubs have underachieved across the board. this leads you to believe the brewers are the best team in the division and the most well rounded team? you are back in full july 2015 PleaseWinCubs mode
  8. Bump Oh, Duker, I've had to watch the Brewers come back from 7-1 in the 6th already this season. Wait to bump this. god you really are back to being a sad, sad ninny.

  10. If by basically you meant he hit a foul ball a mile, yes i mean if it was originally called fair it couldn't have been THAT foul :dontknow:
  11. wait so rizzo basically hit another leadoff hr? holy horsefeathers
  12. i mean all i hear are his hot takes on the cbs updates, but he seems like a giant meaty ball of meat
  13. i mean i know you're making a joke but how would that even make sense
  14. Still on pace for 27 yeah but you need to bank those opportunities when they come
