  1. if you're only gonna watch one of these, go with the youtube clip on the bottom.
  2. in that baldy video, possibly my favorite part was when he slid over within the pocket in response to the pressure (rather than actually bailing running)
  3. yeah that's kinda my read on this situation he has openly admitted that he feels like he has to defer when he's in the lineup with the #1 unit.
  4. One of those things was supposed to stand for smart right? smart situationally so maybe it was the wrong time to be smart
  5. Dilfer doing his weekly Fields analysis on Parkins and Spiegel was very positive on Fields yesterday and basically negative everywhere else. Mentioned that no QB can handle that type of pressure coming from the middle of the line. I'll post when they put it up. I can't believe Whitehair got hurt just as it seemed Patrick was getting close to taking over at C. We're never gonna get away from horsefeathering clown ass Mustipher. It's hard to be worse than that guy was yesterday.
  6. The only reason I knew that was because he played in the two Cubs/Marlins games I went to. It will not surprise you to learn he was completely hopeless at the plate each time he batted. against the cubs? that does surprise me
  7. i generally agree with the sentiment but this thread basically exists because the white sox pulled a 75 year old guy who hadn't managed in 10 years and just had a DUI arrest out of mothballs and tasked him with managing their team just as its window was opening (and renteriad renteria again). it was absolutely bonkers at the time and i still have a hard time believing it actually happened. it's possibly the most reinsdorf thing that ever reinsdorfed.
  8. i've said it before but i have never in my life managed to do anything as consistently as navin gets these threads up every day
  9. I'd take both the most recent throwbacks (the old navy with orange numbers and the newer white ones) over the standard ones, not that they aren't nice.
  10. who said them being throwbacks mattered they are just dope as hell
  11. this might be your worst take ever
  12. yeah, this is all indisputably true
  13. No Jaylon is not great, bob
  14. I was (wrongly) very disappointed by the Lovie hire, mainly because it wasn't an offensive guy (sound familiar?). The meatbally nonsense about beating Green Bay being the first goal in his introductory presser didn't make me feel any better. Looking back, I think most misinterpreted what he meant by that but whatever. I was pretty quickly proven wrong and I hope we can say the same for Eberflus.
  15. It's an example of a pitiful, pathetically bad GM, was Pace the worst GM in Bears' history? Not even close (even if you're being pedantic about the GM title)
  16. Sidenote: that was the same year ed lynch decided not to trade todd noel and jon garland for mike piazza (something like that, maybe pat cline was in there too) and then 2 months later traded them for felix heredia and matt karchner and don't forget the rick mirer trade right before that 98 debacle everyone had stupid FO's back then but ours were HOF stupid The Rick Mirer trade was easily one of the most head scratching moves I've ever seen in sports history. I only vaguely remember the trade when it happened but looking back on his numbers before the trade and I cant even begin to make a coherent argument in favor of even considering that trade. it could be, without hindsight (and without looking anything up) the dumbest trade in nfl history. traded #11 overall for a guy who was basically ryan leaf or jamarcus russell after 4 years of proving they sucked ass. that's only a slight exaggeration because those guys weren't allowed to play 4 years.
  17. I think Cade McNown and Curtis Enis being taken in back to back drafts was the low point of the 90s. Passing on Randy Moss because he overslept for an interview and taking an unhinged RB instead. 19. Can't you just go to a local sports bar that has Sunday Ticket? There's no shortage of those...granted, it means being at a bar at 10 am lol (Or what UMFan said) I live in a sports bar desert. In some ways its great because here, everyone would rather take part in the beautiful outdoors, in other ways it sucks because I miss games. Closest one would be Tacoma area, an hour away Really? There's not even some crappy BWW or something like that off an interstate exit somewhere?

  21. the first team i followed at all was that 95 team with kramer, conway, graham, etc. the 2001 team really sucked me in since that was the first bears team i really saw do anything remotely good (at least, besides that mediocre 95 team with a good offense). then the lovie years really hooked me.
  22. Is that an actual thing
  23. You're a horsefeathering moron lol Make it 99, this defense is soft and pathetic. Lol. I'll go double.
  24. :hello: You can just give me $90 now and we’ll call it even. Hey they were 7th after week 1. I’d hold off David and see how many more monsoons we play in before settling You're a horsefeathering moron lol
