it's obviously a stupid suggestion for several reasons, but he has them at the same total amount, so really who the hell would care. the same money over more years is a good idea at any price (assuming the contract isn’t so long the commissioner vetoes it for circumventing the luxury tax). right
You saying this makes me REALLY care about the Cubs signing Darvish. Then you will love the writer's suggestion that we sign him to 8 years to lower the AAV. it's obviously a stupid suggestion for several reasons, but he has them at the same total amount, so really who the hell would care.
i mean we've got dudes named after starlin castro on here, and a guy with a jen-ho tseng avatar so (holy crap bill hall hit 35 horsefeathering home runs one year) ***D.A.V.I.D FAULTY MEMORY CARD*** i was talking about starlin on you, you egomaniac
It was just me. Well actually I didn’t think they were the better team, I was just convinced at some point that the Cubs were going to sleep walk through the entire season. This has become a nightmare thread. People relaying what VB fans are saying when I do my best to avoid VB fans in general. There were a quite a few more posters than you saying that the Brewers were going to win the division. Actually you were probably more angry at the Cubs than actually becoming a Brewers truther. he was definitely a brewers truther.
Shocking, given username. i mean we've got dudes named after starlin castro on here, and a guy with a jen-ho tseng avatar so (holy crap bill hall hit 35 horsefeathering home runs one year)
How delusional do you have to be to think the farm system is a problem when the very reason the farm system is barren is that the best farm system in baseball from a couple years ago graduated almost everyone to the major league team successfully and at very young ages? I guess our future would be in much better shape if we just sent our MLB roster to AAA and AA.
They like to claim the 1957 Milwaukee Braves World Series. I was "burned" by a Brewers fan before the Cubs won with that piece of information. uhh...do we get the 2005 white sox then?
To be fair, all this making fun of them is probably giving the impression that they're a lot more relevant to us than they are. It's just been a very long and very boring offseason. well yes that, and we're all still aware at how annoying it was to have at least half the fanbase worried about them last season.
Yeah, that Brad Robinson guy was saying something about how Darvish to the Brewers would worry him a lot more than Ozuna to the Cards (which, don't get me wrong, neither particularly would worry me all that much) and I was all like...
