    i always go back to the 08 cubs vs the rockies as the epic cubs comeback that i missed when i turned this one off i definitely thought something like "they're absolutely having one of those once in a decade comebacks today" but i admittedly probably think that every time i leave or turn off a blow out.

    Although I do mention White, I wasn’t advocating for him. I’m hoping for a top WR in the draft and if that means a trade down, so be it. Robinson is a nice story, but he’s been no more healthy then Meredith really. And all the other names mentioned hereupon underwhelm me save Snead. But Snead looks to be headed elsewhere from the last reports I’ve read. I also get the strong feeling Pace is done with FA save a few roster stuffing pick ups. wasn't this entire thing started by you saying the bears must have confidence in white if they let meredith go? am i taking crazy pills?

    This right here. The Pirates are not only the fun police, but they clearly have a history of trash talking about the Cubs (don't forget Cole's whole "they're not that great" or whatever comments) when they play them. The Cubs are the team that gets some ornery old boring baseball guys mad all the time by dancing and celebrating. There's obvious subtext.

    To be fair, the Cubs used to (still do?) keep out the media for 10 minutes after every win to have a dance party. This was annoying, but whatever. Feast on the Braves, who are actually really bad. I'm pretty sure that and the bullpen dances are the motivation behind this. They're mocking the Cubs for not hating fun.
