    Cubs going the extra mile to show much he'd be appreciated here. lmao this reminds of some OU fans back in the day. They went to the national championship game (i think it was 2003) and got to the goal line at the end of the game. A touchdown would win the game. They threw a couple incomplete passes and lost. I knew some people who argued they did that to show Adrian Peterson (a 2004 recruit) how badly they needed a RB. Makes perfect sense. was 2003 the year mcgahee's knee blew up? only reason i remember that is i remember watching it from where i was working at the time. er i guess you meant the 2003 season

    i was sure that was gonna drop as annoying as this soon to be 2-3 start is, russell looks great, heyward looks not completely useless, zobrist looks pretty good, the bullpen has been great (and wilson has already done more than he did all last year), and schwarber looks v good at the plate

    The seats have actually been replaced for a while now (at least in lower deck...i can't remember if they did the upper deck seats or not)...the main thing you're seeing there is the old concrete juxtaposed against the old concrete. that's kinda cool definitely thought it was old/new seats as well and wondered why they would just do them all. yup, that's just where they dug up the grandstand to build the new fancy shmancy clubs underneath. behind home plate last year, 1st and 3rd base sides this year. here's last season

    “One” Sometimes baseball is unfair, and sometimes is a lot more often than 1 out of 162 times. That’s why they play 162 times. yep...and it's why even the most insanely good team ever still lost 28% of the time and lost a playoff series overreacting to one or two games in football (or playoff baseball) is totally understandable but i really don't get it with regular season baseball
