  1. They need more pass rushing talent as the roster currently stands, but the recent thinking is that coverage is more important than pass rush in today's NFL. Coverage grades have a higher correlation with winning. https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/gm-report/pass-rush-vs-pass-coverage https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-pff-data-study-coverage-vs-pass-rush-part-three
  2. yeah i can't start another thread after my own loss. thems the rules.
  3. i'll take tyler lockett upside
  4. a speedy WR and people seem to like the pick. i'll take it.
  5. I think adebawore was seen as a 3 technique in this defense.
  6. i'm sure that will be delicious, but sir, that is not the bit
  7. lol gabriel thinks it would take one of next year's 1sts to trade up to 32
  8. oh and maybe i'll get some chinese food today how about some mongolian beef and crab rangoon
  9. doing this one a little old school this actual jerk (2.17 ERA, 3.46 xERA, 9.31 k/9, 3.41 bb/9, 29 ip) faces off against... ...this jerk (3.62 ERA, 3.44 xERA, 10.54 k/9, 2.96 bb/9, 27.1 ip) on a friday night-ish this place let's win again
  10. Apparently the Lions are still gonna Lion, even after they win a bunch of games after the season is already over.
  11. i'd like to get adebawore there i'm sure there are some other 3-tech candidates they might like too.
  12. I hate this greenberg aggregator clown and normally would post the original source but I'm not sure where Rapaport said it
  13. K's started going up a long time ago, as soon as teams were all realizing the value of OBP, generally working deeper counts, and the fact that an out is an out. three true outcomes, Adam Dunn, etc. it MAYBE was taken a bit too far (or maybe the playing field just leveled out because everyone was doing it). a sort of course correction seems to be happening where (and i have no idea what the actual data says, so i'm talking out of my ass to a large degree here, to be clear) contact is being valued more and naturally OBP might be coming down as a result. also, pitching is just insanely nasty now so that's another variable.
  14. As someone who was pissed we didn't take Carter (but not that we took Wright), that Athletic grade is obscenely dumb. Who the hell is Scott Dochterman? (Apparently, a CFB writer for The Athletic, but I was asking rhetorically)
