  1. Looks like 103, in 1962 and 1966.
  2. I won't stand for any slandering of Mickey Morandini.
  3. I kept seeing on the bottom line yesterday that he starts throwing this week. Even when he's healthy though, I don't think that Roethlisberger is that good(read: starter) a fantasy QB.
  4. ndistops, lemme know if Alex Knipp does anything for BSU this year. I played HS baseball with him. And I'll see what I can do, IMB.
  5. Oh man, O's fans would be pissed if that's what they got, considering what they were hoping for in the offseason.
  6. That's the nature of relief pitching. A starter has 2 bad outings in the same amount of innings a reliever throws in 6 outings.
  7. October 28th, you making the trip?
  8. I believe that is exactly the point. Then I don't understand what it is. There are many pitchers who fail at starting and then go on to be relievers. Some of them become good relievers, some bad. What makes Dempster more likely to be among the good relievers?
  9. Agreed. Depending on how the offense comes together with a different focal point, and how well the secondary plays, I could see them being within a game or so of last year in either direction, with a chance for a miracle season. 7 home games this year is gonna be awesome.
  10. Tony's fatal flaw was signing so early in the season. He should've followed Neifi's route to financial security. Get hot at the end of the year while our incompetent management can't differentiate hot streaks from ability gives you another year to prove your suckitude.
  11. 99% of all relievers failed as starters in the minors. There's no point in listing those guys.
  12. I don't suppose anyone watched the New England-New York game just now? Dempsey put in 2, and New England's coach(who has a crazy English accent) gave a hilarious in game interview.
  13. All Euros now. Let's go Germany.
  14. Wasn't yellow card worthy though. Brazil is getting some good chances but one must ask where they were in the first 80 minutes of the match. Oh yeah, it shouldn't have been a card, I was just laughing at Harkes. Awful call on Ronaldinho.
  15. He is? He's not at all in line with his numbers as a reliever. His numbers as a reliever are less than 60 innings prior to this year, not a whole lot.
  16. Haha, Harkes was too far into his "Ronaldo took a dive" diatribe when the replay showed Thuran caught him on his back foot.
  17. I had looked away and I looked up and saw Cicinho trying to recover a fumble. A little confusing to be sure.
  18. I don't think he's a flop at all, but Kaka gets fouled a lot. And hard too.
  19. Explain. Someone earlier said that Rosenthal claimed Dusty would be gone if the Cubs continued to suck all weekend.
  20. Guys, Brazil is playing. Just see if they can come back and hope that Ken Rosenthal wasn't being a hack with his earlier report.
  21. And to think France almost didn't get out of Group play. How do you leave Henry completely unmarked on a free kick?
  22. The homer in me says it was pretty cheap for Uribe to take out Walker's legs when they were behind the base and out of the baseline.
  23. The US made it to the round of 16 in 1994 and lost to Brazil. EDIT: Nevermind. After rereading it I'm assuming you meant that the US didn't win a game in the elimination stage. Actually no, I misread the results I was looking at. Pretty remarkable though.
