Hernandez getting burned by the extra base hit today. 4/0 K/BB, but a HR, and 3 doubles have killed him. 6-0 Peoria trails. -
If he can't even get the trade right then how much can I trust the rest of his info. Uh, that's right.

That example doesn't make sense though. It's not like a game show where we can only see this guy's SLG and only see this other guy's OBP, and you make a decision from there. You can see both, so both should be used. I agree. I was saying that someone who puts up a .550-.600 slugging will inevitably also have a high OBP (unless he's Alfonso Soriano). The guy with a .400 OBP will have a solid slugging percentage, but not necessarily an elite one Again, you know what both the OBP and SLG are. There's no point in saying "more likely to", you have it. Unless you're talking about projecting from year to year(which it appears you're not), and even that is an entirely different discussion. -

yeah, studies have shown that dumb pitchers are more prone to wild pitches. Watch him in person. He gets flustered, alot. I don't hate the guy, but showed tons of negative body language Friday night in Cincy. Pacing around the mound, shrugging his shoulders, putting his head down. It doesn't have anything to do with intelligence, more like composure. If Friday is a "bad" outing, then I'm not going to complain about Hill's composure or how he goes about his job on the mound. Did I say it was a bad outing? It was just a comment on his mannerisms. Things fall apart for him very quickly. That's a matter of opinion. If there's a strong defensive catcher Hill might not have given up any runs that inning. As it stood he only gave up one, is that falling apart? How do you know that it's linked to his mannerisms? People are different, Hill may show outward displays of frustration in order for him to get over it and focus entirely on the next play. Sure it was Kendall fault that Hill made a error, Hit, HBP, and walk. There is no one to blame but himself. Calm down, my point was that one extra-ordinary play by one of his teammates gets Hill out of trouble.

I think so. The point I'm making is that we can't speak for Hill's mental state. Considering he did a pretty good job of limiting damage that inning(as well as the aforementioned example in Cincy), maybe we shouldn't be so quick to label him as getting flustered.
