  1. David Cales, he went to Mizzou his freshman year, and transferred so he could pitch.

Did he play any CF?
  3. Found an article that said Mitchell was 6-0 with a 1.63 ERA at one point during the season, that's about all.
  4. He goes by Logan. He was 6 for 9(all 1B) with 2 BB and a K in his first 3 games this year. That's all I've got.
  5. IsoP of 247 is nice pop but Keedy's 252 translates into "not a whole lot of power"? well, Keedy's a first basemen while Jones is a RF, and also, I'm eyeballing these.

  9. Looks like he was a DH when he wasn't pitching. Here's a boxscore of one of his starts last spring.
  10. Jonathan Nagel, RHP, Independence CC Independence hasn't updated their website in 2 years, so no numbers for him.
  11. I was referring more to his IsoP. When you hit .423, your SLG is gonna be up there.

  13. A little sample of Coleman against top competition this year. He went 2 IP against Miami, 0 runs, 1 hit, 2/2 K/BB, one player(Alonso) reached on an error. Against #25 UCF: FGCU IP H R ER BB SO AB BF NP -------------------------------------------------- COLEMAN, Casey...... 8.0 8 1 1 2 8 32 35 118
  14. No 2008 stats at the FGCU website, found '06 and '07 on his player page. http://fgcuathletics.com/baseball/roster/78/12/
  15. McDaniel: 12 games, 54.1 IP, 5.82 ERA, 66 H, 63/20 K/BB He gave up an additional 13 unearned runs. Methinks the team defense at Chabot was less than top notch.

  17. Fontenot is a pretty poor defensive 2B, although with his experience at 3B his arm isn't awful. Opitz sounds like a guy who can really get to the ball, but his lack of arm strength limits him to 2B. Offensively they seem to compare, as much as a comparison to a MLB player and a collegiate player can be made.

  20. The Braves just took someone from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
  21. THT linked to collegiate splits for all the first day picks. Of note for our draftees: Cashner Flaherty v. LHP: .250/.333/.380/.713 v. RHP: .366/.457/.640/1.097 Home: .299/.399/.488/.887 Away: .329/.427/.632/1.059 Neutral: .380/.429/.560/.989 He also OPS'ed nearly 175 points better in conference than in the non-con. Shafer Carpenter was brutal on RH hitters, better away from home, and overcame a terrible, terrible February. Bristow was much better at home and in the non-con. Harrison got better as the year progressed, and appears to be anti-clutch.
  22. Either I'm crazy, or no one with the last name of Wilson, or the first name William/Bill/Willy, played for aTm this year.

  24. Hahn almost walked out to the mound and started a fight with him on Wednesday after Maddux threw his arms up when he didn't get the corner.
