One of Jones or Mabry has to be available to start, they just have to. If we're calling up Novoa to make sure the pen's rested for a sequence of starts, then something needs to be done about this situation. DFA Bynum and bring up Restovich, it's what should've been done to start the season.
Why would we give Bynum much more time in the next 2-3 weeks? Is it his anemic history, his current futility, or his lack of hustle that puts him over the edge?
There's a commercial here on FSN Midwest that shows people jumping into all sorts of stuff, then at the end you hear Buck's call of Edmonds crashing into a wall to make a catch, and some guy simultaneously does the same thing into a vending machine. It's pretty great.
