  1. The Rangers-Angels fight wasn't nearly that awesome. Number 48 in the clip is a big boy, it took 4-5 guys just to slow him down. I guess that's Indy ball at its finest.
  2. The Rangers and Angels just boiled over and had an on-field brawl. Kennedy charged the mound after getting hit by a relief pitcher, and Mark DeRosa came in to tackle him after the pitcher got in a few decent shots. Benches and bullpens cleared, and several smaller fights broke out around. After everything calmed down, players are still threatening the other team from the dugouts. Not a spectacular fight, but it was one of the better ones of recent memory.
  3. This is good news, but Glenn and Crayton are still out. I'm a bit worried, hopefully everything sorts themselves out eventually. I'm not as worried about Crayton as I am Glenn. I think Hurd can offer as much production as Crayton will. Glenn is only having problems with blisters, so I think he'll be fine. Crayton has a high ankle sprain of the same ankle that he broke last year. Hurd has looked pretty good, but he did drop a few balls in the opener and I don't like relying on a rookie. Hurd has shown some good potential, but at least with Crayton we know what we're getting; Hurd is still an untested player.
  4. This is good news, but Glenn and Crayton are still out. I'm a bit worried, hopefully everything sorts themselves out eventually.
  5. Fantasy advice, some fantasy leagues play with NL-only or AL-only rosters.
  6. They were at 39. Ok, thank you. I remember there were 39, but I thought that Mateo was #40 when he got called up.
  7. Does anyone know who was removed from the 40-man roster to make room for O'Malley today?
  8. I can't see Wilf hanging on to him after this, and it's a big blow to them. They better hope that Williamson steps up quickly.
  9. So the Cubs play a triple-header today! I wonder if everyone can sleep in the stadium and stay for the day cap?
  10. Big Papi has a slight lead on him IMO...he had another game-winning hit today as well.
  11. If he still starts later today....I'll personally kill Dusty with my own hands...and post the pictures too.
  12. Or we won't...Murton will be benched tomorrow for sure now.
  13. I'm going to laugh if the Astros walk home the winning run.
  14. maybe this should just go to Rollerball rules. We could always try to go out and get Fick.
  15. Pitch count for the game so far: Chicago- 254 Houston- 220
  16. More stranded runners for Houston...the only thing that ends this game is a homer.
  17. Wow, that wasn't even close...do the umps really want to leave tonight?
  18. Didn't Theriot get on with a sleeve-assault? I believe he was hit squarely in the back.
  19. I just said that to my friend. I'm waiting for someone to give him a noogie. I bet he has a myspace page. $2 to the first person who finds it. 7 pages for a "Rich Hill" search, and none that look remotely like him.
