This is absolutely great news! Now I'm kinda split on what our draft needs are. I'm a big Pat Watkins supporter, and I'm really against drafting a CB in the first because IMO Henry is staying at CB and we've already got quite a bit of money invested there. The offensive line is solidified now, so there's no need for that. WR is interesting since it is such a deep draft for them, but I really like the group we've got with TO, Glenn, Crayton, Austin, and Hurd. We could use a nickel CB, but I like McCauley in 2nd/3rd round area. A backup C is needed too since Johnson left, but Young out of Fresno St. is decent and could be gotten on on day 2. There aren't really any prototypical NT's this year, but players like Soliai, Doughty, Dagunduro could all be had on 2nd day as well. Reggie Nelson is the only person I would really love to see in the first and I doubt he makes it that far. I think there's a decent chance Nelson falls to 22. It's not a certainty, but in this draft it could happen. I want that shut-down free safety. I'd love to get Landry, but he'll be picked with the 8-14 pick, I'm sure. Nelson has a chance to fall to 22, and if so Dallas should take him. If Nelson is gone, I'd like to see the Cowboys trade down. If they can trade the 22nd for two picks in the range of 30-40, they may be able to get Michael Griffin out of Texas and Meacham or Craig Davis. I didn't get to watch any football outside of the Thanksgiving Day games this year, but it's my understanding that Griffin is more of a SS than a FS? Maybe we could trade down to say Oakland for their 2nd this year, and 1st next year and try for Kenny Phillips. Meachem, Bowe, Rice, and possibly Jarrett would be there at the top of the 2nd. I have never been real happy with our RB. Pending his physical I would not mind taking a flyier on Michael Bush and trading JJ. Outside of that the secondary is the biggest need by far. As for that other team in Texas, espn.com is reporting they might have some interest in Quinn. Why try to correct last seasons biggest mistake? There really hasn't been alot of running room the past few years though. JJ is at his best in space, and I think that we'll see a much better running attack this year with the much improved line. Rivera was just taking up room but did very little last year. I think Bush is going to turn out to be another Ron Dayne in the NFL. If we trade JJ, and draft another RB this year I think it would be more of a speedster. We've already got MBIII to be the bruiser so we'd need a change of pace.
