  1. The Redskins traded their first round pick to the Cowboys for a bag of practice balls and a practice squad kicker, Vance is now on the clock
  2. I have yet to see someone predict over 90 wins for this team. Actually, BP says if the Cubs shore up their bullpen, 90 wins isn't out of the question. I don't agree with trading OF'ers however... subscriber link If they consider Floyd and Pagan as "excess outfield talent", I'll gladly trade them. As long as Murton and Pie aren't traded I'm fine with whatever happens.
  3. so which one was the response sent to? It was actually sent to one of my main email addresses- cowboys_fan_31@sbcglobal.net. Ah ok. I think it's pretty funny. My advice on emails at this point is make the short and simple. What I suggest is making them appear to come from LSU or Saints fans. Those are less likely to be discounted. TigerFan2345 or something like Iloveduece...or the like. Or anything that says gueax in it, right  that would work. I've voted with 11 different emails so far today, I'm trying to find more domains to use though so that they don't get suspicious.

  6. If that angers Browns fans, then they deserve the results their teams have had. It is the right pick, but most fans will want the sexy pick which means trying to get CJ, Peterson, or Quinn.
  7. The guy who took them only has 26 posts, hopefully he doesn't take forever to pick.
  8. I wonder if they've gotten suspicious of some of my votes yet? Just some of the emails I've made up so far are biggioblows@gmail.com, lidge_is_a_loser@gmail.com, carloslee_is_a_bust@hotmail.com, this_poll_is_rigged@yahoo.com, and the_rocket_has_crashed@fastmail.fm.
  9. Don't worry...everyone already knows you're taking Landry.
  10. After trading McGahee, a RB will be pretty high up there so Peterson if he falls or Lynch would be decent picks. They also lost Spikes and Fletcher at LB, so Willis makes sense as well. If they're all gone, they could use a CB to help fill Clements' spot or a WR to help out Lee Evans. right. I looked over about a dozen mock drafts online and have a better idea of what to do now is someone updating the first post with the current picks? I think that's what the (place holder) in the 2nd post is for....but Vance is too busy with the hometown baseball poll right now.

  12. Koyie Hill has ML experience and IMO he'll probably get the call.
  13. I actually got a reply from one of my emails to the paper, so I thought I would share. I sent an email saying that they botched the original voting, and that the Cubs should rightfully be named the Hometown Baseball team, here was Nick's response: Fun spring time poll, or rigged poll?
  14. We'll go through the 3rd including compensatory picks. Is there going to be some sort of 12 or 24 hour time limit per pick?
  15. +5 So far today. I've used my 3 emails, and made up 2 more. I'm working on more, I hope to get about 50-100 new emails by tomorrow.
  16. I don't necessarily agree. Soriano's main problem right now is judging the ball off the bat, once he gets that down he'll do much better. We've got good speed in the OF, and pretty strong arms all around. Jones really struggled with his release point last year, causing him to skip most of his throws back in. This spring he's shown a much more accurate throwing arm. Murton and Jones have both been error-free this spring, and Murton has added 2 assists as well. Soriano has made 3 errors in 19 games while adding 1 assist, but that is to be expected when switching positions. His transition from 2B to LF went about the same way last year, but he ended up with 22 outfield assists as well.
  17. Many player profiles and mock drafts can be found here and here. Something like this may help you as well.
  18. Since they handed out the wristbands in today's game, I wonder if toothpicks will be passed out during the next game they do?
  19. he's all boy And a lefty to boot. His windup looks like he's been watching the D-Train.
  20. For those who haven't already seen, Dwayne Jarrett ran a 4.67 and a 4.62 40-yard dash at his pro day today. Sidney Rice had 25 teams show up to his pro day, and his agent advised him not to run even though conditions were described as ideal. It looks like 2 of the top receivers in the draft will be falling come draft day.
  21. Seriously. And I know of two Chiefs fans on this board, one of them should step up. TT took the Chiefs, and I've volunteered to double up and take the Bills...all we need is someone to take Cinci.
  22. Maybe he went to the swim club and ended up with the rest of the Bengals in jail?
  23. The Bills and Bengals I can almost understand, but the Chiefs are halfway decent. Vance I know you want to avoid doubling up, but if helps I'll take the Bills too.
  24. I didn't even know she was pregnant.
  25. Since '97...his entire career. Originally drafted by them in the bottom of the 2nd round.
