Now, that pickoff is on Richard. If he steps off and holds the ball, he's got him in a run down. By throwing to first, he makes it a challenging play.

I could take it a step further and go on and on about base run differential, which is even more indicative about true talent level.

I'd like to see his his high leverage vs. low leverage stats, where do you go to find those? here you go. Adjust the split to see medium and high leverage. I didn't really find it illuminating, though.
