  1. I kinda keep forgetting we still have Quintana
  2. JD just pointed out that the Marlins are 100 points ops better against lefties. I'm sold. Adbert for #3 in the rotation if we need it in the first round
  3. I'm torn between Failcons and Falolcons.
  4. And then that happened. Uh, go Bears?
  5. And once again, we see the Bears late game defense just shed yardage.
  6. How the hell do the falcons give up so many leads?
  7. Alzolay not as sharp this inning after the two and a half hour top of the second.
  8. lol - Bote leads the team in RBI?!?
  9. Damn. Alzolay is sharp. It would be really nice for him to grab a rotation spot for next year. I think I might be fairly comfortable leaving one spot for him or Mills to take. Adbert if he's looking this good. Mills as a sixth starter / backup plan.
  10. Does Mitch throw the worst deep balls in the NFL?
  11. Helmet to helmet. It was basically bad luck, but any helmet contact will be called.
  12. We stinks
  13. They'd get the better seed. They only play the extra games for in/out of the playoffs or home field advantage (division crown)
  14. It's 8-0 and his next start is in the playoffs. Save the bullets.
  15. Love seeing Schwarber go to left center
  16. Seriously. If you can get even a 3 win season from Bryant he’s underpaid at $22m. Sure he could continue to flame out and/or get hurt but it’s much more likely he’s a 3+ win player. Not to mention if he’s doing ok but not great you can get something for him at the deadline if you want. If you non-tender him he probably goes to the Cardinals and gives them an 8 win season KB is *probably* fine, but are you willing to bet ~1/8th of the payroll on it? In an offseason where we already have to fill 3 open rotation spots? It's likely all academic. I imagine, even with revenue down across the league, there'll be at least 2-3 teams happy to take that gamble. But personally if I'm going all out to win next year I think that money goes a lot further elsewhere. I'm guessing that Mills has earned enough trust that they'll get two starters plus depth guys
  17. fwiw - the perception of Mitch's performance is probably a lot higher if Miller didn't blow the catches on two well thrown balls. The one on the sideline in the fourth quarter changed things a lot. If that drive is kept alive, we don't punt from the 40 yd line and they don't have the ball to march 95 yards for the touchdown. I think Nagy needs to come to the realization that this is *not* an elite defense anymore. I think that's the flaw in his logic that is leading to the conservative approach when in the lead.
  18. Miller should have caught that pass
  19. Mitch looked pretty good on that drive.
  20. :flythew: :flythew: :flythew: :flythew:
