    apologize for not remembering who posted this, but someone said if the Dodgers win tonight Lester vs Anderson Arrieta vs Kershaw Hendricks vs Greinke whereas if the Mets win its Lester vs Syndergaard Arrieta vs Harvey Hendricks vs deGrom Lester is already at 7 days off as Sammy Sofa said, and it lines up Jake for both teams top gun as well essentially turning the game into a coin flip. Holy crap I'm equally scared and excited at both of those match-ups. one other thing I've been thinking about. Jake's past his previous innings total by... A LOT. I wonder if that has anything to do with it as well.

    its almost as bad as fake marrying someone for 20 million in publicity. seriously though, the Kardashian's and people like them are pond scum, and me personally just by typing this have already given them more attention then they deserve. *edit* hope Lamar Odom makes a full recovery, if only for the people that really care about him.

    I do not have a problem with a pitcher bitchin' about the bat flip there. It's about the most perfectly acceptable time to do a bat flip, but a pitcher who ends up on the losing end of that craziness is aloud to vent a little to the press. I don't want my pitcher tippin' his cap. It was a more a criticism of how [expletive] his complaining was. If he wants to vent and rage, fine, but don't wuss out and blame it on "political correctness." Hamels is dumb. He should be mad at his team for making 3 straight errors.

    It feels like Murray hasn't showed up (or at least hasn't been shown or talked about or made his way to the booth) since he threw out the first pitch in 2012, and even before that it seemed like he didn't make himself known at the games nearly as much as he did in the Caray/Stone days. Murray was at that Cubs/Cards game this year where he called that little kid wearing a Cards jersey the spawn of satan or something. It was hilarious. That was at a game? I thought it was out in public somewhere and the kid just happened to be wearing a Cardinals hat or shirt or something when he asked for an autograph. I think it was at the Molina/Matheny tossed game. hmm... Actually, I think my memory is going, lol.     you underestimate the stupidity of most of our fan base (and baseball fans and people in general) I don't live in Chicago so I'll have to trust you on this one, David. That's just really sad, however. If the Cubs lost that game, fans would put him through hell again. Include him in the celebration, not pregame. I kinda agree here. I think if/when Cubs win the WS that Bartman would throw out the first pitch the following year while raising a banner or something. Kinda like what the Sox did for Buckner.

I was there in 2008. It was really, really, bad. Heard a ton of smack from an unbelievably large amount of people. The one thing that kept me cool the whole time is remembering how they are all fake fans and didn't know anyone on the team outside of Manny. If the Cubs play the Dodgers I am definitely going there, because my boys will help me get retribution in the form of dongmageddon.

    I was at this game with my buddy. (should have went to all 4) It was hot as hell and maybe max 200 people in the stadium. this was my bad. I think it was the 8th or 9th inning Javy was up and people started to leave. It was too quiet for me so I screamed "LETS GO JAVY!" and he proceeded to swing out of his shoes throughout the whole at bat. Love him.

    Mlb network was way better last night with Dan pleasac and the go cubs go song during many parts of the broadcast. Espn has been dead to me since the bears were good because you know to them defense is boring

    THAT'S the place i was thinking about god now i have to go David I was at the game after the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, and they were at Wrigley. The Cubs lost 6-0 to the Indians with Jake pitching, go figure. Anyway there was a place across the street on Clark I believe and all the Hawks were there. Giant bus limos were lining the streets along with like 400 people trying to get in. Was that Stanley's? nope... stanley's is in lincoln park. not really close (in a relative sense) to wrigley. it's where those videos of rizzo and theo doing drunk karaoke were filmed. oh, lol sorry. I just figured that bar was probably the one where they always go or something since all the Hawks were at that place. Anyway stop talking to me go have fun!
