  1. 0-2 to Soriano, it seems like he starts his AB's 0-2.
  2. BAHHHH!!! Killed that, right at our favorite failure.
  3. FELIX!!! (he's better than Reed vs. right handers)
  4. 1. Fukudome (RF) 2. Cedeno (SS) 3. Lee (1B) 4. Ramirez (3B) 5. Soto © 6. Soriano (LF) 7. DeRosa (2B) 8. Pie (CF) or since Soriano batting that low is a stretch: 1. Fukudome (RF) 2. Cedeno (SS) 3. Lee (1B) 4. Ramirez (3B) 5. Soriano (LF) 6. Soto © 7. DeRosa (2B) 8. Pie (CF) and then to satisfy the Theriot lovers: 1. Fukudome (RF) 2. Cedeno (CF) 3. Lee (1B) 4. Ramirez (3B) 5. Soriano (LF) 6. Soto © 7. DeRosa (2B) 8. Theriot (SS)
  5. I think he's still in the minors with them. There's no B-R record of him leaving the organization. He's with Tampa Bay now.
  6. Lol I think that's Felix as the baby doing some sort of awful dance, haha, hilarious.
  7. Just about everything in this post sucks, and is idiotic. (I would rather not hear that this is a personal attack or whatever, it isn't a personal attack, it's just my opinion of this terrible post) - You first spoke of his career OBP, and now you switch it to his 3-year, and I'm going to ignore that, but it still isn't sub-.300. Sure this is sub par, but this is not your original statement, you tend to exaggerate. I don't even need to say anything, it's been said at least a million times. You forgot to mention that he's also being Tulowitzki-esque (actually .065 better), Ryan Howard-esque, Carlos Beltran-esque. I hope that he can continue to be mentioned with these other guys. This should also show you that referencing statistics this early in the season as a reason to get or not get somebody is idiotic. When it comes to batting average, never is the best time to use that statistic.
  8. If .310 is sub .300, then yes, but last time I checked, it wasn't.
  9. Theriot + Pie for Greene, Cedeno to CF Fukudome (RF) Cedeno (CF) Lee (1B) Ramirez (3B) Soto © Soriano (LF) DeRosa (2B) Greene (SS) This order makes me feel all fuzzy inside. EDIT: Heck, throw in Murton too if thats what it takes to get it done, I don't care.
  10. Come on, man. What is that his 3rd blown save already this year? Plus the horrible outing in game one. I have had enough of the Wood for closer experiment. lol Yeah let's just ignore his 9 scoreless outings and his 1.50 April ERA, or his 11K/BB ratio in April, or the fact that in April he faced 43 batters and only gave up 5 hits and 1 walk. So for April: 1.50 ERA 11K/BB .122 BAA .163 OBPA .244 SLGA .407 OPSA .138 BABIP Against 54 OPS+ Against 0.50 WHIP 8.25 K/9 All this shows is that Kerry Wood is obviously a failure. I'm tired of this, can we please get rid of him?
  11. Wow, really pathetic that we lost today, really pathetic.
  12. I know it's been said before, but I don't think we could say it enough. The difference between Kosuke and Floyd/Jones/Murton is tremendous.
  13. Nostradamus? You said this a good amount of time before it happened.
  14. uh obviously. cedeno is ozzie smith without the back flips. Yep. Only Ozzie ever made a play in the hole. Theriot was a part-time minor-league shortstop, playing mostly second. Is it so hard to believe he doesn't have the arm for second at the major-league level? A little late, but so far I am getting annoyed by your posts in this game thread. First, the ump has been really bad. Secondly, Theriot played 2B and SS about evenly, he didn't mostly play 2nd. 293 games at 2B 244 games at SS comparing SS to 2B, he played about 55/45 in favor of second, you make it sound like 80/20.
